is there a job somewhere where i can get away with scratching my @rse, picking my nose, belching, eating, drinking, crapping, ordering people around, watching tv, sleeping, snoring and ogling at birds all day?
if there is an employer willing to employ me to carry out these skills then please pm me so i can arrange an interview and prove my credentials in this department is second to none!

Yes folks, that thread is 5 months old, and yes, I was quite helpful on it, and yes, so were a lot of people, and yes, I do wonder why I bothered.

For goodness sake Phil, just because you're not going to get a top degree at University doesn't mean that you're useless in the world of work!-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Phil stop saying "if only, if only if.. if.. if...".
Often in life we have to do things we are not cut for, and have to make to for a while until we get what we want. This are the stepping stones to our goals. Doing a job you find uncongenial and even lowly is never a waste of time if you use the experience to propel you onwards to better things.
In order to do this you need the motivation and determination I spoke of above, and also enough vision to understand how your newly acquired experience can help you forward.
So naturally I wonder, is there any point in me having said all this?
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
I did look for this thread as I remembered there was at least 1. But with 300 threads started by Phil since he joined in July, I couldn't be bothered trawling through them.Murphy_The_Cat wrote:SP, I think that you (& everyone else) will find this thread from 17.08.06 very enlightening.

Phil, 300 threads (and it's possible that that's just the limit that can be stored on your user profile so I don't know if there were more) in 6 months is 50 a month. You don't need me to tell you that is a LOT. It's no wonder you are repeating yourself as I don't think you're giving yourself time to use the answers to your advantage.
I honestly think that getting a JOB rather than looking for your ideal career is the way forward for you at the moment. It will break your apparent obsession with MSE a little, give you some independence, make you 'get on with it' and I think it will really do you the world of good. It's what I did when I left school and it gave me time to think about what I really wanted to do.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Absolutely none whatsoever.
Just add your name to the bottom of the list of all the people who have given up their time and offered their help to this loser & who have all been repeatedly ignored.
