Phil enjoys bashing phil if you get my drift :rotfl:This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0 -
studentphil wrote:Thanks, I know all the student stuff really. It is either graduate schemes or nothing.
What??? You are telling me all graduates go straight into graduate schemes!! I dont think so. A lot get any job to keep them going while they assess their opportunities. Why dismiss the idea so quickly. Sometimes I think you dont want any help at allAuntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0 -

sg, I saw how a thread of phil went down on the students board. They are not putting up with all this whinging. Most of them have a job as well as having to study, and are used to get their fingers out and do things without asking anyone about it and take any knocks in their stride. Which is why they will be prepared for life outside uni, in the first place.
Above all, they are all peeps who when ask for advice, go and try out all the options.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Q, I am just so frustrated that reflecting on it is the only way I can stop myself going crackers. I do not like being bashed but I am so frustrated at all this that I have to put with bashing.:beer:0

you're allowed to make mistakes though...
go apply for any job you're half interested in, you'll either end up loving it, in which case you'll become more competant the longer you're there and work your way up...
or you'll hate it, in which case you just apply for a different job, its not the end of the world
you don't have to get it all right first time.Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
Phil doesn't want any help because then he won't be able to come on here and moan 24/7.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

but what is the point - you find reasons why you cant act on any advice given and then get bashed. What exactly do you get out of this?Auntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0 -

Correct, sg. Staying at home and complain is soooo much easier and safer than actually getting out of bed early and go out and do all those things the boss tells you to do. Phil at 40? "Can't get a suitable job.. what can I do?"Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

No I am not saying that. I know the students point of view being a student and I just need a bit of different prospective.:beer:0
