Yes, working at a university or college seems to be one of the very few things that interests me.:beer:0 -

Having said that people who have a passion just about anything they wish to pursue make the difference in their own career, destiny and for the others - just my observation.
Agree.
Also, if you look at what gets your juices running - the kinds of things that have got you posting questions on this site - it could be: work with disability issues - DET training, etc. It could be something to do with counselling, social work - something where you can ask questions - HR, etc - the world's your oyster and the universe is your winkle or whelk.0 -
Open the local paper, find a job you are qualified for and apply. You're an adult now. This isn't 'when I grow up' any more. It's now.

I think Gingham's got the right idea; I've known people still on the dole at 40 because they couldn't decide what to do.
Phil - apply for every job you might be vaguely interested in; it'll give you excellent experience at handling interviews. You're under no obligation to accept any of them if offered, and you might just stumble onto something that appeals.Touch my food ... Feel my fork!0 -
If only I had I picked a better degree my choices would be so much improved.
It is strange how you can go from very well qualified at 18 to be useless in the job market at 21.
I just feel into the trap of go for the best uni and it would give me best choices--- big mistake.:beer:0 -
I think I know, and I'm getting there slowly. I don't want to miss out so I do any job to keep the bills paid and prevent me sinking into debt in the meantime. And at least one of my jobs is very interesting to me, so I enjoy that.

If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation
