I have used, 4 normal - non Iphone phones, no signal in the "dead zone" Used other o2 sim cards and the phones work normally. (they was my family phones)
Then the problem is with the sim card, not with the signal.

You really have to identify the problem before going any further.

If some O2 phone works fine, then take the sim out and check it with your phone.
If your phone works with this sim and doesn't work with your sim, then your sim is faulty.
If your phone doesn't work with both O2 sims, but works with Voda sim, then O2 signal is just weaker than Voda and your handset is not good enough to work with such weak signal.
    Yes, that's the one

o2 has stated, its not the sim, I have had too many sim cards to count from o2, I have 20 sim card with the micro sim missing. (where the micro-sim was taken out), and many they done in store.

Your telling me, that the phone works with original sim and doesn't work with my sim, then my sim is faulty. but with most of the sim cards I have checked? Seems to unlikely to me, and o2.

I may be missing something, but simple logic suggests that it is the sim.

I agree, however, for 20+ sims it seems a little too many.
