I had problems with o2 earlier this year basically i was on a iphone contract with unlimited data plan but kept getting threatened with being cut off due to high use, they have a fair use policy but nowhere is it in black and white what Gb figure is deemed fair.I disputed with them they offered to terminate if i sent in iphone4 (10 months left)

I decided to email the CEO about my issue and within 24 hours his pa replied saying they will terminate contract without penalty so i kept the phone.

I know different issue to you but worth trying the same as i did.

That's utter nonsense because Ofcom don't investigate individual complaints and the OP has already been offered a range of solutions.

OP, you need to decide what to do. If you have no signal at home then it would be madness to stay, so take the offer and leave.

If you do want to argue your position further then you can contact The Ombudsman's service (used to be called OTELO) who will make an independent decision.
All complaints are isued a reference number and further instructions, this allows Ofcom to monitor the mobile networks so all people should register a complaint through Ofcom

I'd go to o2 ADR and not deal with them - they have proven themselves to be liars from the outset about your lack of coverage.

Contact o2 http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Companion,question=ref%28User%29:str%28Mobile%29,CASE=13668 and ask for a DEADLOCK letter to go to o2's Alternative Dispute Resolution

I have a free one from o2, it does not make any difference.

I have used the sim card, in phones that are proven to work, I get no signal.

I get signal when out of the house, sometimes 5 bars. when I don't get 1 bar if I am lucky at home.

If you are getting signal outside your house then may be it some thing in your house stopping the signal.

Its not just my house, its the area around my house, 1km sq, I don't live in a mansion lol. I wish I did, I would be able to afford to terminate the account lol.

My house is more like 7 meters by 15 meters 105 sq meters, 9 times the size of my home (that I know off) I have no signal. Again, all estimates from google maps.

So, do I email the CEO of o2?
    Do I contact ofcom?

    Just an update

I have gotten my phone unlocked.

    Here are the results

No Service or Searching on o2.

3 bars, 1 bar in "death grip" on Vodafone.

I think this has just proven, the phone is NOT the problem, it has to be the network/contract.

Due to this, what do I do? Phone o2 up again, let them know to see if they can do me a better deal other than 50%?

I have a Pay As You Talk sim coming soon on vodafone (should be here anyday) I will use that for when I am home so people can get hold of me.

This has proven that Vodaphone signal is much stronger in this location than O2.
To prove what you want you have check a few different O2 phones in the same location.

I think all possible ways of action were suggested above: finish formal complaint procedure with O2, then complain to the ombudsman. Make it clear that there is no reception outdoors, as no network guarantees reception indoors.

I have used, 4 normal - non Iphone phones, no signal in the "dead zone" Used other o2 sim cards and the phones work normally. (they was my family phones)

I have also had 4 iphone 4's no signal.

I had finished the formal compliant, of which o2 has deleted it, they have no records do I need to recontact? o2 have said due to this, they will allow me to terminate the contract, but want the phone, or for me to pay 50% of the contract upfront.

Shall I now contact these guys.

I think 1 year, 3 months, and 16 days (473 days is long enough)
