Sorry NIM but that made me laugh hehe!

Joking aside I'd have decked her if she'd been in front of me the way she carried on at the weekend. She was like a f***in 6 year old.:mad:

You'd swear she forgot I didnt speak to her for nearly a year the last time she crossed the line.

You look great in your costume, Tete! I actually, seriously and honestly think you'd rock red hair.

I'm covered via the company, it's the excess I have to pay. Stupid rock! It's not meant to be in the sky, I mean we all have dreams to fly n'all but we should act on them in a way not to trash peoples things. Sheesh!

That's what I said to my OH Birdie, would he rather I was getting baby broody and looking at moses baskets or something? I just want a cute puppy that turns into a kick-!!!! dog, and then when we do have kids they can be best friends. Simple!

Used my break to search for contents insurance, cheapest quote I got from a comparison website was £93.50, went direct to the site and they quoted me £89 :j

Been a bad person and forgot to get my Uncle and Cousin a Christmas present! So I've ordered them next years Pin-up for Heroes calendar as 1) It's pretty ladies and 2) My Cousin's ex-army and they both wear the bands. Ordered one for us too, hoping the idea of a new pin-up girl each month will remind me to turn the page. We were on April for 3 months this year :o

Those who did the thing for the extra boots points, has your transaction worked as mine didn't. i paid for a song at i-tunes through bootstreatstreet and it hasn't shown up and it won't let me use the code again. Have just e-mailed to complain, I think a few other people have had the same problem.

    Awww cute :D

So sorry to hear about issues with your Mum, NIM. It's never easy, and I speak from experience. I second your suggestion Wendz - Birdie should lend out her Mum to all of us!!! :p

  • Birdy - Sorry to hear about the OH’s arm :( Stupid woman for trying to cover up for her stupidness and blatant disregard for others.

Birdy/Cinny - What you said about my BF is exactly what our counsellor said. If only I came here first, I could have saved a lot of money! :p But we still go as it is good for us in other ways. It’s hard for him to talk about because he keeps himself to himself anyway (super shy, which is the complete opposite to me!) and his parents never told him the value of money or had even conversations about it. They are so clueless when it comes to this, I’m shocked! I know I’m no expert, but I know a good deal when I see one and if I can afford to pay off debts I will. Like they didn’t pay off their mortgage quicker (I don’t even think they know the word ‘overpayment’) and have no savings! So they are both working and they are in their 60’s – I want to be out of the rat race at 50! :p

Anyway, enough talk about them, the better!

Starnac – I rang him up earlier (he’s on holiday – lucky g*t!) and he just came out with “I’ve printed off my expenditure. The ‘going out/socialising’ money is practically zero some months! But we can sit down and discuss it tonight”

Did the Pod People come down in the night? What has happened to my BF?! :p

Lara – are you our counsellor?! :p I need to remember that he’s not used to the ‘big conversations’ because he never was a part of that when he was younger. He just spent all his wages every month and just lived like that for years. No accountability to his parents. When I used to live at home, she used to make buy board and put a fixed amount into savings – the rest of the money was mine to do with what I wished (God, did I buy some carp!) Money has never been a ‘taboo’ subject for me (hence I’m quite open about it on here!) but to him it has.

Tete – after all that umming and arring, I didn’t book it in time! :p Plus a buyer has opened a dispute case for one of my items (£10) so I need that money to refund him before I get my money back from Royal Mail (boo, hiss) So I best ring up the college to see if they have an appointment.

Oh and LOVE the costume :)
