  • How is little Gracie today?

I know what you mean Birdie, all the lights are on in here, the wind is whistling and the rain is battering the massive windows - I actually LOVE being able to see the weather! :D

Oh yes, welcome back CMD! Hope Evie had a nice birthday (but how the heck did she get to 1 already?!) :)

Linkies to the dresses Wendz! Well done on getting money off! :T

Glad you're enjoying your window Tete! I'd hate not being able to see outside. I do miss my old office though, 2 walls were all window and they looked out over farmland, we used to all stop work to watch the deer in the fields! :) It was awesome when it snowed too, felt like we were in a snowglobe! :)

  • Would they eat oysters? Maybe a voucher for a special meal out involving oysters, for the pearl connection?! The modern equivalent for a 30th is Diamonds so not very MSE!

Hope the xray doesn't show anything bad. :)

All I can think of for your parents is a mother of pearl photo frame or something like that. Too early in the week for fantastic ideas I'm afraid! :o Trying to think what I got my folks for their 30th... and now having a bit of a panic as I *think* it could be their 40th this year so I'm going to have to come up with something really good!

ETA: Phew, just checked and it's their 40th next year. My God that's a long time! :) Oh and I got them some fancy schmancy champagne flutes that Mum had had her eye on for months for their 30th. They still use them now, nearly 9 years on so quite the investment piece! ;)

  • Just popping in quick, still trying to recover from the hen weekend in Liverpool.

Sorry to hear about all the rubbish that's going on Poolie. Hugs for you.

Hope Grace is ok Dinah and NIM.

Beccie, the crochet class is in Guildford, think it's at the store called Pandora near TGI's and the Slug and Lettuce. They do knitting and crochet. You have to book online (will have to wait till I get paid on Thursday). It's £35 and you need to have a crochet needle to take with you but you get all your other supplies with the price. Do you want me to PM you the link?

I must be a bad daughter, i don't think i have ever bought my parents an anniversary present! Think they have been married 33 years.

I like the suggestion for a meal with oysters(if they like them).

  • Hope Grace is ok and that you are feeling a bit better today Poolie, sorry to hear what a rough time you've been having.

It was dark when I got to work this morning that all the security lights had come back on. I'm feeling pretty 'meh' as it is so the weather is definitely not helping. Luckily I have quite a quiet day at work, although lots of niggly annoying jobs which I need to power through and am really not feeling inclined to do so!

Wendz - love the dresses! I promise not to steal them!
