  • To do lists

Whilst talking about lists ...... my new "to do list" pad arrived today :j but it's absolutely huge!:(

My fault, the dimensions were given & I've just not realised quite how big it was going to be:o (should've learned the check & double check things lesson when buying online by now:p)

Anyway .... dilemma is what to do with it - it's kind of great as it has a to do list on one page (with tick boxes to mark them off:j) and an appointments list on 1/2 the back page (so wouldn't need a diary as well :T) and a notes section on the other 1/2 of the back page (which would use as a spending diary:T) but it's huge ..... and would only last until the end of April (starting 1st Jan).

So .... I'd need to either buy another 3 to last the year  or find something else and I've already got a spending diary for next year ......

Not sure if I should just keep it and re-list on the next listing day...... ;) but I like it ..... it's just HUGE and not practical to carry around everyday which is why I stopped recording things this year .....:(

Oh no, I couldn't do without a litter tray in our house either.. The kitten who is in and out all day long still uses it (lazy s0d) and my older cat is showing signs of slowing right down now so we need it for him anyway. They do stink though, so wish I could do without one!

Rising - just a thought. I had the same pad I think - I laminated one page & use a felt tip to write on it & just wipe it off with a damp cloth when done. I also made a menu card for the week so I can fill that out & a shopping list on the back (would be even better if I used it regularly ;))

OMG Silva that's an absolutely fantastic idea :j - and I'm :o to say that I would never have thought of it myself:o...... ohhhhhh off to rip a page out right now as .......

I do really like it ...... so think I may just have to use it - and resign myself to having to use one of my big handbags next year ........... all year :rotfl::eek:

OOoooh I like that idea a lot - it could live inside the tea and coffee cupboard and just be wiped clean, rewritten and blue tacked back up as and when needed...

To lose more 'non-essential, essential stuff' in. Or maybe that's just me! :rotfl:

Rising My laminated one stays in the kitchen but you could make your own on your PC & tailor it to the layout & size you need for your handbag?????
I'd have done that myself instead of using scrappy bits of paper but I bought a new phone some months ago & its got a 'Memo' thingy on it so I now have a Memo 's for 2 different supermarkets & a 'dont forget list - haha

I love the memo bits on phones - I use mina all the time for various 'to do' lists as I'm ambling along on the train

  • Have thought about that (and could easily do & print) but my problem is how to hold it together..... being a "lefty" I really like spiral bound things (as we find it really hard to write to the inside of "normal" notebooks - especially small ones) so ......

Will ponder for a few days.....
