    My passport expired in 2006 and I have never needed it :( Although it doesn't make sense to renew "just in case" I now won't look at holidays as I know we have to add on the cost of both of us renewing our passports before we can go anywhere. If you have the money, it might be worth it in case anyone wants to whisk you off somewhere :D

    *sigh* I wish :rotfl::rotfl:

    I am saving a bit of money atm as I'm not using fuel (poor Dinky's looking a bit forlorn sitting in the driveway :)) but groceries are def costing more (online orders so can't shop around for deals at the different sm) and I'm trying to get rid of the pesky OD ASAP so would really rather it went towards that than something I'm unlikely to use.

    Think the decision's made ........ passport-less:eek:

    You are allowed to have down posts you know. He was such a big part of your life, of course you will miss him. :(

    I haven't been all the way through your diary, I take it you aren't considering getting another dog just yet?

    Banwa I do actually :) - wee pic of her here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=56006383&postcount=773

    It was a bit of a rocky start - everything was different and she'd literally never seen other dogs (apart from those she'd lived with), cats, people, roads, cars, pavements and as for noises - she barked at every car door being shut, wheelie bin being moved/dropped ......

    So there was cat chasing (2 months :eek:) - upset tums - emergency vet admission - another illness:eek:!

    BUT she's gorgeous!

    She's been at my mum's for the past 5 weeks :eek: tho' with me not being well .....

    Hi rising,

    Sat and read through your diary - you have done so well, such a strong person. :) What a great idea to start a diary for life after debt - I always wonder how people get on once they reach that hurdle.

    It was the anniversary of losing one of our dogs on the 5th. I can relate when you say it really doesn't get any easier :( Sending you hugs :sad:

    Oh lordy GK ..... right the way through?:eek:

    Hope you weren't too bored ..... and I do remember getting a bit obsessed by figures at one point :o - my "regulars" keep me on track now!:T

    Have the pesky OD to clear at the minute but still technically DF as savings are slightly bigger than this ...

    For me, the diary is fantastic - although DF, I have a pretty tight budget (single, with mortgage / bills / car & pets!) which is how I got into debt in the 1st place .... constantly need to keep an eye on what I'm doing!
