Ahhhhhhh Kalms *sigh* ..... feeling better now, ta!:)
I'm signed off the rest of this week and she thinks I'll be off for a min of another couple of weeks .... maybe up to a month
Getting a bit frustrated as I'm generally a pretty fit and active person and am raring to go ...... there's just no energy / stamina in me yetbut a lot of that's down to excessive weight loss just before / during my hosp stay and trying to re-put that back on and the amount of drugs I'm on atm - which should reduce over the next couple of weeks so ..... fingers crossed it's not too long!

Morning all
have been up since 4:30am again  (don't want to risk falling back asleep now as DM due at 7:30).
Honestly, I can't believe how early they make appts at the hosp / don't even think about how people are going to get there
Had Dr on the phone in a flap yesterday afternoon as blood test results from Fri are all wonky againand she wanted me to go straight back to the hospital and be readmitted .
Pointed out that they were done on Fri and it was now Weds pm and I was still hereso thought I'd be OK until I go today anyway .... she was really good actually and went and phoned the hosp and spoke to the Registrar there ...... who I then had on the phone ..... then an hour later the Specialist Nurse rang .... "I've just got your blood results" .....
Still ..... good to know they're keeping an eye on me:)
Have to go & see the Registrar before they decide if I can get the infusion or not so keep your fingers crossed ..... it's not nice but obviously does help sort things out sooner so better to have it.
Actually looking forward to getting out the house for a while - even if it is just to go to the hospital - as not been anywhere since the blood tests last Friday ...... will be nice to see the outside world and be driven around in the car.:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks both ..... has been a very errrrr difficult day:(
Arrived at hosp just after 9 (was to be there by 9:30) and told I had to see Dr before they'd decide whether to go ahead or not - typically my temp (which was fine when GP had me check it while she was on the phone yesterday) was high (it does seem to go up & down a lot just now - may be the steriods - as it was fine when they checked it when I left!)......
Long story but still waiting for decision at 11:30:( -
Not impressed as it could've been done by then ..... DM was hanging around that whole time (plan had been that I would let her know if it was going ahead & if so, she'd pop away for a couple of hours & do some shopping as she doesn't get to town often) .......
Long, long saga about being admitted (no way!), clinics, staff availability (as I'd missed the infusion clinic by this point), missing blood tests (these were supposed to be done when I arrived & hadn't been - which is why it took so long as Dr had been waiting for the results to come back  which of course they didn't as they hadn't been done ...... infusion finally started after 12.
Not long home ...... *sigh* - glad it's done but ......
DM needs to be home before dark (she's nearly 70 and doesn't drive in the dark which personally I think is perfectly reasonable) - needed to stop at Dr on way back for new sick note for work (done) but also needed to get prescription from chemist (not done:eek:) so will need to try to figure out a way to get that tomorrow  (too far to walk atm & not driving ......)
Totally knackered TBH (which will partly be done to the drugs) and glad today's over:oGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Oh my word, you really are having a time of it. I expect you're feeling a bit dodgy after all the uncertainty of yesterday. Try to keep calm, it helps recovery. Try the yoga healing-meditation breaths - three long slow breaths, counting in and out for three each, breathing through your nose and opening your chest so you breathe from as deep as you can in your diaphram. Close your eyes and think of your special place (in my head yours is the beach you take Maisie to)
BTW I am well impressed with your non-smoking savings - at this rate that money will pay off your OD.
Take good care of yourself and best wishes

Thanks SL ...... getting there!
Yup, those savings are adding up ..... it would clear the OD in around 8 months - a long time (and hope to be shot of it well before then with a few other cuts) but just shows how it all adds up!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

So ..... really need to try to get this silly o'clock getting up stamped on the head - 4:30 again
There must be something happening that's waking me up as it's the same time every day ..... mmmmmm
Plan for today - well, errrrrr - finish hemming throw / tablecloth for new (old) table.
It's turned out really well (even if I do say so myself;)) - hems aren't that straightbut considering it's been months since I've been able to use the sewing machine, I'm not surprised & it's good to practice on something that it doesn't really matter about IYKWIM.
Should've done a double hem so have ended up re-sewing but all good practice I guess.
It looks a lot better over the table and brightens it up a bit - shouldn't complain really as a) I've now got somewhere I can sew again :T and b) I didn't pay a lot for it!;) (especially when you think the new ones I was looking at were around £200!).
Just think ..... in years gone by, I'd have just gone, "oh well, I need that" and stuck the £200 on the cc bill! ....... making progress!;) (and about time too:o)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Morning rising...
I too have fallen into the habit of waking up at about 4am and not being able to get back to sleep.
I'm putting mine down to stress rather than illness, but I just wanted to pop on and say that I hope you're doing ok. You've been really up against it lately.

Ahhhhh thanks Wannabe .... hoping you get a bit of stress relief & can sleep soon too ..... it's awful being up when there's no-one else around!
For me, hopefully once the drugs start reducing a bit it'll help as they do tend to affect sleep patterns etc.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
