Ahhhhhh - nope, not amended the SOA .... forgot about that
As long as I can stick in these, it's OK but there's very little room for vets trips and I'm sure I originally had a bit of extra in both budgets to cover these - their food costs are creeping up (like ours I guess) so that's eaten into that!
I have mountains (literally a whole BIG ottoman full) of material - much more than I thought. When I was decluttering the other day I sorted it all out (was in several different places) and it's now all in the one box and I couldn't believe I'd filled it.
If I could think of something to make & sell that would be good ..... any ideas? (needs to be easy & quick as I'm not a master sewer & I get bored easily:o so need things I can make in one go IYKWIM).
DM phoned earlier & is bringing the folding table up on Sunday :j (wouldn't fit in Dinky with Maisie in there already).
Not really got stuff to e*bay otherwise (all the good junk;) was cleared out & sold to clear the debts)....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Meant to say - we had a lovely walk on the beach:D
Maisie went into the rock pools for the first time and had great fun in them.
Then we met a lady with a young Belgian Shepherd who managed to persuade her that the sea is great fun and the waves aren't scarey at all - honestly, she was pelting through them (think she just needed someone else to show her it's OK).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Rising.
Love the piccie - that's one seriously happy hound!
On the material front - just a thought, but if you have lots of excess then consider selling batches in FQs....
Have a good'un.

Awwww thanks SL - unfortunately the ugly Crohn's Disease reared it's head in a pretty dramatic way.
I knew I wasn't well but (as is often the case), you don't realise how unwell you are until it's really taken hold - and everyone around has been telling you you're not well IYKWIM.
Went to the clinic expecting to get a rap on the wrist for not going a couple of weeks earlier & sent home with some pills ...... unfortunately ended up being kept in for 10 days  with lots of IV drugs for days on end (which make you feel a lot worse before you feel any better) - had IVs in both hands at one point which wasn't good!
Anyway, feeling a bit better now and finally home which is fab- honestly, how on earth you're supposed to sleep in hospital I have no idea ..... noisy is an understatement .
Taking it easy - legs are like rubber (literally) which is a strange feeling when trying to move around:o and having to eat things I'd never have thought would be "good" for me eg white bread (which I honestly can't say I've eaten in 20+ years:eek:) and lots of bland things like fish, chicken etc etc.
On huge doses of steriods which will mean the recent (hard fought for) weight loss will just pile back onbut I guess I'll worry about sorting that out again when I'm better.
Bit fed up TBH - have lived with the disease for 14 years with the odd flare up and had things pretty much under control (knew what I could / couldn't eat etc) and had been really well controlled with meds for 3 + years ...... it's like it's gone "ha ha I'm still here" ....
Anyway, missing Maisie loads as she's staying with DM (she'd been there for about a week before I went into hosp as had got to the point where I didn't have the strength to walk her .... maybe should've been a clue).
Cats are glad to see me home - poor wee souls have been cooped up inside all the time I've been away. DM popped in every other day (she must be exhausted) on her way to visit me in the hosp and a neighbour popped in the other day to feed them but it's a long time to be on their own.
Ohhhh sorry, rambling now..... head is a bit wonky still. Daily pile of pills has increased to 22  just now so a bit woozyGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

That sounds horrendous. You must learn to listen more attentively to your body! One of my closest friends has some long term health issues and about twenty years ago she told me what to look for at the different ends of the spectrum and I watch out for the signs but sometimes I have to keep repeating it like a dripping tap wearing a hole in the surface before she listens - it's the same thing as when you tell yourself you're fine when you really aren't - if you set the safeguards in place you have to listen! In your case, if you can't take Maisie out, clearly things are not good! - end of lecture.
It's good to see you back and posting. A good idea to reduce your signature so you concentrate on the important things - you and your little family. Well done your Mum and neighbour. That's the important stuff. My friend with Crohns had to reduce the roughage in her diet as it was making her bowel over-work as if it was an irritant. White bread sounds familiar. I do hope you are bouncing back
Take care
