Really glad you're feeling better but  to your pants falling down. My BF recommends braces:rotfl:

Those cups are lovely and almost definately essential

    £102 :eek::eek::eek:

I was once in Mr S and the woman in front of me spent £217 and she didn't even have much in her trolley. I felt very smug with a weeks worth of shopping for £17 ;)

Cats fussy eaters? Doesn't sound likely to me :rotfl:

:rotfl:Not sure if it's down to the weight loss - more likely I stretched the old ones when I put weight on in the first place!:rotfl:

Awwwwww thanks for saying that:D - they are gorgeous & I must say they're a lot easier to hold than my old ones - I know that sounds like another excuse!:o as the handles are lovely - and my hands get a bit errrr drop happy quite often (arthritis)

I know  Still reeling at that one ..... think that's the most I've ever in my life spent at a sm!

There is a fair bit there tho' and have just been out and shuffled in the freezer so room for lots of batch cooked stuff to go in ;) - hoping that should last at least a month - except for F&V of course.

OMG that's brilliant :D and soooooooo true!

Just packed the car (boot is now full) with stuff to go down - mainly food but also some old litter that I don't use now and a few bits for their shop. My neighbour's just given me some stuff to take too:D ..... not sure how I'll get it all in:eek: (can't have food in the back with Maisie!). Just remembered I think there's some food in their storage hamper (wicker laundry basket;)) upstairs that they won't eat ......... love cats eh!;)

Stop it with the mugs - I want some too :D:p:D
  • So ..... had big plans to start knitting a scarf tonight - managed to get a huge ball of gorgeous coloured wool (yup, another of yesterday's spends:o) that I hope I'll manage to get 2 scarves out of ........ one for me;) and *hopefully* one for part of DMs shhhhhh C present.

BUT, it's not gone to plan - not sure where the evening's disappeared to but just out a lovely soak in the bath ....... just about time for a WW hot choc (1 point & it's fab:D) and maybe WW cookies (2 points).

Dinner was only 6 points :D - tried a Quorn lamb style steak thing - was OK (have another in the freezer) but not really me - the peppered style steak was much better! - with new pots, mushrooms and a mountain of mashed carrot & swede.

Saved a point by using WW spread instead of butter but it didn't really seem to melt?

I've gone down a point this week  so will have to watch what I'm doing - plus is that I usually get between 4 - 6 activity points / day and never use all of them so that should help balance things out.

Haven't needed to use my weekly points allowance much (as using activity points first) but lunch at DMs tomorrow

Most of it was needed (new underwear especially! - had a bit of a errrr wardrobe malfunction the other day in that I had a skirt on and my pants wouldn't stay up :rotfl:). Emergency trip to a store in town where I work but had to get some new ones ...... OMG can't believe how much they are!

:rotfl::rotfl: Rising that made me laugh... I had a similar issue last week and thought it was just me :o - only I was running late and didn't find out until I had to walk from bus stop to station, two hours before any of the shops opened! Was very, very glad it was a long dress

Do get a referral for acupuncture, it's not regulated yet and you want someone sensible and experienced, not someone who only just did their weekend course. (If you can't get a free referral, try looking at university training clinics - it should be a decent clinic and the appointment supervised by a qualified practitioner, but they're much cheaper as you would be treated by a late-in-their-training student.)
