Yep ... What colour ?0
-
What colour! Really ... as if that's the most important thing;)
There was a rather nice pink & grey one but unfortunately it would've clashed horribly with my tortie (pink and ginger just ... don't go)and I was a bit worried the boy would get a bit of a complex:o - so I've gone for the orange & grey one.
It arrived yesterday and .... appears to be faulty:mad: - which is just typical. If there's 1 in a million that's faulty, I'll get it! Have emailed pics to the retailer & will phone later this morning.
Apart from the wonky bit, the carrier itself is great and I think it'll be great having a top opening one to try to get the "darlings" in.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Week 2 (Thurs 20th - Weds 26th Oct)
I'm a bit late as "supposed" to do this on a Weds afternoon but didn't have a great day yesterday (I know.... excuses, excuses).
My order from the online chemist - that I paid next day delivery for as I really needed something in it - didn't turn up:mad:. Have phoned & complained but not really impressed with the service TBH - they could've let me know on Tues if there was a problem so I could've gone elsewhere - doesn't really inspire confidence for urgent medical items!
Then the cat carrier arrived - and was damaged/faulty:mad:. Enough said at the minute as a bit of a touchy subject until I get it sorted.
OK, so here goes:
Cat carrier
Cost - £24.78
Need / Want - need (catch broken on current one)
Positives - hunted around (3 days!), saw elsewhere for £59.99:eek:
10 x Sheba trays
Cost - £5
Need / Want - Archie eats them!
Positives - bought to make order up to free delivery level (£29). Cheapest I found the carrier elsewhere was £29.99 so seemed logical;) to get more for my money!
Asda
Cost - £57.02:eek:
Need / Want - groceries! Not sure how this falls into either really!:o haven't shopped for a fortnight so not too bad.....
Positives - ....... maybe spent a little less by doing online rather than going to the store
Chemist
Cost - £5.78
Need / Want - need (horrible lip)
Positives - little option as only 1 in village
Online chemist
Cost - £16.82 (incl £6 for next day delivery:eek:) - no option really as emergency situation and can't get to chemist
Need / Want - need (horrible lip again & run out of antihistamines!)
Positives - antihistamines were really cheap.....
Notes - Due refund of next day delivery charge as didn't arrive:mad:
Summary
Spent quite a lot this week - mainly down to the groceries & problems with my lip which needed 2 lots of stuff from chemists - not really a lot I could've done about that.
Got a good deal on the cat carrier:D and save loads off full price (I really hope people don't actually pay that!) but now need to try to get a replacement as it's faulty......Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thurs, Fri & Sat were NSDs:j:j
Winter pyjamas
Cost - £9.99 (incl p&p)
Need / Want - need (only one pair long sleeved....)

Asda
Cost - £11.77
Need / Want - need ... groceries!
Positives - visiting friends brough essentials so I can put off a big online order for another week:)
Co-op
Cost - £13.22
Need / Want - need ... groceries!
Positives - popped in when DM was here. Also got 3 chickens for £10 & had a £10 voucher which was about to expire:) - wish I could get free chickens every week!
Dry cat food
Cost - [STRIKE]£47.99[/STRIKE] £43.19
Need / Want - need ... food
Positives - had a 10% off voucher to be used by the 4th, not desperately in need of this but seemed a good idea to use the voucher. Will now have enough to last all the way through winter. Same amount of food bought @ Pet Shop would be £85:eek: (only sell in small bags). Got a free massage centre:o (boy am I still a sucker for something free chucked in!)
Summary
Not too bad ...... maybe should've hung off on the pet food in case a great offer comes up, but will have huge problems with deliveries once I'm back at work now PAH need a signature (as almost everyone else does:(). Don't fancy running out in the middle of winter and not being able to get a delivery (as last year)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
