Well ... had a day away from the 'pooter yesterday  - spent a lovely day with my BFF and had a wonderful walk on the beach with the dogs (hers).
Back to work today .... glad it's going to be a short week!:)
NSDs are proving to be very hard to come by this month - target of 10 set (usually 15!) as a few birthdays & on hols (when I always spend - saw someone post the other day that they spend at work & not when at home ... I'm the opposite:rotfl:).
Nearly made it today .... but found out the Co*op were doing my all time favourite bubble bath & shower gel for BOG2F ..... usually around £2 each  (so usually a treat once a year) but got some at that price!
3 bottles of each in the cupboard:T & seriously tempted to go back and stock up on a years worth
*sigh* the thought of lovely bb & sg every night rather than cheap stuff *sigh*Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Good morning Rising, i agree with flying_fresian, i would go and stock up on some as that really is cheap...maybe not a years worth though0

Much as I hate to recommend spending, I think the others are right - being an effective MSE-er surely has to mean a balance between being sensible with your money and your quality of life?
All those in favour of the all time favourite BB and SG?

Hand up from me too0

RFTA, You have slightly more than me coming in a month........so if you can get yourself out of debt and sorted. I should be able to.
Treats, really make you appreciate the nice things in life, enjoy them all the the more, when they are just now and then, instead of everyday occurrences, taken for granted........enjoy your bubble baths.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

Ohhhhhh since you've all twisted my arm ..... I'll go and buy some more tomorrow:rotfl:(going to nearby town with a bigger Co*op so hopefully they'll have plenty;)).
Moneywaster ...... if I can do it - you can too! Secret is to just keep plodding along (sorry know that sounds boring) but seeing it go down little by little does help but remember a wee treat is allowed now & then:).
For me, when I first started the worst bit was my Friday night takeaway ..... it was my treat (and was on the way home from work) but it did add up to a fair bit over the month:o. It was cut to payday Friday and tbh I actually appreciated it more as it really was a treat then.:) When I moved here the nearest takeaway is around 7 miles away so really now it's an exception rather than the norm.
Those wee treats keep you going and keep you sane and able to carry on.:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
