Ohhhh if I disappear during the next week it's because I'm changing ISP and haven't figured out how to change the settings on the router.
Dreading it tbh as I'm not the most technically minded person! But am saving a fair bit so ..... worst case scenario is that my BFF & her DH are coming over for dinner next Sat & he's a computer geek so should be back by then! (A week without MSE!!!! how would I survive - I'd have to get quick fixes on my mobile!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hope you get your router sorted out.
A week without MSE?? :eek:0 -
A whole week without MSE!?!?!?
I hope you dont have to wait that long, and that you manage to get your router sorted quickly.0 -
Hopefully have found the solution for the router problem ... will have to try it tomorrow as too tired just now
and going to be tucked up in bed in time to watch Home*land @ 9:D
Finally managed a NSDbut only No 4 of the month:eek: which is terrible for me! Trying for Mon & Tues too!
Getting my hair cut on Thurs ..... not been done since Aug:o so desperately needed. Aiming for a trim and when it's grown another 3 inch or so, I'm thinking of having around 6 inch lobbed off & selling it :T Research into this and how / where to do it needed!
Have a slight cash-flow problem- have a basic account with a local bank (no branch of my bank nearby but I actually like my bank so don't want to move it) which I use to pay in cheques etc. Anyway, have around £150 tucked away in here for an emergency (leftover from tax rebate before Christmas:D).
Anyway, I need to get £135 from this to my main bank to cover the advance annual landline payment I've made on my cc (had no budget set aside for this:o but it's a huge saving over what I'm paying now so seemed the right thing to do) ..... have no idea how I'm going to do this as it doesn't have an online facility or a cheque book.
I have taken cash out of here to pay for my hair - and will be transferring the amount from the relevant pot but as this is only around £30 I need to figure out how to get the other £100 moved. HELP!
Only solution I've come up with so far is to use this account for my "cash spends" money from now until payday & probably for May ... :eek:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Well .... where do I start ..... I've had NO INTERNET (except moby) since Monday!
Was supposed to be moving ISP - and also my landline - getting a great deal with advance line rental BUT they totally *£%&£*$ up the order. Several hours on the phone on Tues (when it was going to be on by Fri), Weds (by which time it was next Tues) and then yesterday (when it was up to 2 weeks)..... broadband part cancelled BUT it turnout out the landline without this was going to be EXTORTIONATE  (as it was a LL/BB package) so I was told I could cancel everything.
Phone original ISP today and they can match the original LL deal :T AND I've now got double my BB usage (one of the reasons I was looking to change) for 1/2 price for 12 months :j.
Now .... just need to get the advance line rental money back that I'd paid to the other provider .... honestly, it better get back to my account PDQ or there will be ......
Anyway ... I'm here!
Spends finally gave in and bought a new printerwas totally sick of having 2 (one printed plain paper but wouldn't scan, and the other scanned but wouldn't print) - final straw was when I tried to print some pics of Ben to make a "special album" of him (suggested as someone on the pets board as a nice memory keepsake which I like the sound of) and I couldn't print any out:( - however, neither printer really owes me anything IYKWIM as both are old .....
Managed to get a pretty good deal on one that prints, scans & faxes so have decided to use some money from the coin pots to pay for it :j who needs a shed anyway - managed 5 years without one .... and will hopefully have enough by the autumn to get one (really needed before winter so I can get the car in the garage, don't bother this time of year so stuff will be fine in the garage until then).
Now ..... similar problem with trying to get money from my account mentioned above into my main bank - I need to get the coins into there, or pay direct to the cc (not sure if I can do this without having to pay - as it's also with the same bank!).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
