Hi, just to add after another call this morning I actually spoke to someone who actually seemed to take an interest.

Still couldnt help me as they say they havent received it but he suggested that I take the paperwork into a branch and get them to sign for them and ask them to forward them.

At least we would know they have a copy and wouldnt be able to deny it.

OMG when I suggested doing that very thing (taking it to my branch so they could forward it on) I was told that wasn't possible. I wish they would make their bloody minds up. I might just do it anyway, I have all the stuff from the CCCS so I can just take that in and get them to copy it.

    Hi, newbie here.... :D

What I did was to send Halifax an email regarding my accounts with them (Loan, 2 x CC, current account and savings) and told them exactly what was happening, who to call (and on what number) and the persons name dealing with my case.

You get an automated response with a time and date on it and then you get another response when it arrive at the correct department.......

..........and no more phone calls!!!!!! :j

    Matty.
Currently £42,000 in debt  could no longer cope, contacted CCCS :A and now I'm working to sort everything out :D a long road......but worth it!!!

    Hi Looby,
I've been dealing with Halifax too - they sent a standard give us money now letter, then a default notice, then a letter saying they've passed the details on to their debt department.

    They are slooooooooow.

    Good luck :)

I've had all that too......now they just keep losing the info I and the cccs send to them which conveniently for them means they can keep adding charges and interest.
