You have to disard the tent if you already received it I think and they are sending out the toys r us vouchers

I really do feel sorry for the company. They tried to do a promotion and it has probably in the long run cost them more but fair play to them fr such dedication and the effort they have put in to make sure they don't leave people disappointed

  • Well l actually received a tent this morning then an email later to say they were sending out a Toys R Us £20 voucher instead,so as my Daughter posted earlier am very confused!

I totally agree the way they have handled this has been fantastic, they must be well out of pocket and l shall be emailing them to congratulate them on their outstanding handling of this problem.I almost feel sorry for them:(

I received the email too and am very happy with the voucher.

Great customer service - more than they needed to do!

I got the email today, the second tent arrived a couple of days ago too.

So did you all throw the tents away or have you still got them?

I checked the first one over and it looked fine, so I let him have it, he's 8 anyway so it won't get much play, he crawls in it and sits and then gets out, I've spent more time trying to fold it up then he's spent playing with it, lol.

The second tent seems to be bigger, though I haven't put them side by side (might tomorrow) but it looks ok too, I gave it a good look over after hearing about the "few" with sharp bits, but I am slightly afraid of how spring loaded they are as I keep imagining the wire jumping out through the side as I battle to make it small and round again and poking my eye out.

So we've had two tents, a cuddly cow and bunny and a beach ball and a cheese voucher and now £20 for ToysRus. This competition has cost them a fortune and I emailed them last time saying how nice it was of them to replace it and how well they've handled it and all and got a little letter back saying thanks.

    Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!

Same here, a voucher to use in the shop wouldn't be a lot of use to me. Even then there is p & p to work into the cost.

Next time I'm in the supermarket or doing a food shop online I'm going to add a block of there cheese in a way of paying back something for all there effects.

Not tried there cheese so will see if we like it, If you won after a certain date you didn't get the toys and free cheese but £20 toys r us we are very happy with, Means LO will get another xmas present we wouldn't of been able to afford

P & P would be about £3 or £4, so you would still have about £16 or £17 to put towards something in Toys R Us and as it was given to you (they didn't need to give everyone one) I would be quite happy!
