It's £60, maybe not a massive amount of money but a lot to me! I'm still considering raising a dispute.0

at that price it probable is going through the customs process,
so dont forget you will have to pay duty on £60 and the postage cost and there will be a handling fee of around £10WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -
I'd allow 40 days before dispute for stuff from america0

So probably at customs then awaiting calculation of duty and handling to be paid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Unfortunatley not. It's quite an expensive item I ordered so I don't have the money for a back up
I'll try and phone the sorting office in the morning. I have to say my local postie is fantastic, I work nights and he knows this so he will leave me a note and hide my post in my shed for me. I've never had any issues with post being kept at the sorting office so I would be very shocked if that's the case.
I thought the same but saw the light many years ago when around 10 parcels never arrived with me. Luckily my friends dad, who is a postie, knocked on my door one day with the 10 parcels. This was around a month AFTER I had given up and the company who sent them had refunded me and around 3 months after the parcels were sent. These were sent from UK!
A visit to the post office is always recommended as a first check by default. Many sellers will tell you this. If they are not there then at least you have checked.0 -
The seller has said to me to go to my local post office to see if it's there. I know how awkward my local office is and they won't even look without a card. What else can I do?0

Phone them instead, they will certainly tell you over the phone. The seller has said to me to go to my local post office to see if it's there. I know how awkward my local office is and they won't even look without a card. What else can I do?
Take plenty of ID with you to the post office or the sorting office if the parcel's there.
If it's tracked, ask the seller to check and to give you the tracking number.0 -
Just to update you. I've spoken with my post office and nothing is waiting for me. I've updated the seller. Just waiting for the next step!0

Keep an eye on the time as it is already over 30 days since you paid and you need to make sure you start an INR claim before 45 days. I assume the seller used air mail and didn't send it by surface?0

I have had several orders from the US via USPS recently and they have all been delayed at customs. They have taken 2 - 3 weeks to clear through customs whereas a few months ago they were only taking a few days. As discussed on another forum I suspect a lack of staff and too many parcels!
OP - do you have a USPS tracking number? It will more tha likely be passed onto ParcelForce rather than Royal Mail. If you do, enter it in the track and trace on the ParcelForce website and it will probably show it is awaiting customs clearance.0
