Hi everybody, I ended up buying lunch today as I had only planned to stay at work until around 12 but was there until 3. We're so busy just now, and I needed to catch up with things. So that was £1.50 on lunch. I then went to Tescos as I had to get some groceries for my mum. I seen some gift sets reduced from £8 to £2. So, I bought 2, that'll do for my aunt's christmas presents. So £5.50 spend for me today. x0

Kazonline wrote:Yep, I do have a monthly budget and it's been going well so far (now I know why I managed to reduce my debt - I was obviously spending less than I thought, lol) I think that this week might just go over my 'moozies challenge' but then perhaps I can last until Saturday for my groceries

Kaz - big cow eyes are watching! Don't you dare
Well done on the NSD and taking control! :T Have fun at Cardiff

However after a horendous journey home from work due to the weather I couldnt face making tea so called for a takeaway making my spend today £11.55
. This is where I really fall down as I had loads of stuff in the freezer and cupboards to make a meal and it would have taken me the same or less time to do as collecting the takeaway did. Need to make sure I am prepared for the days when I work so that I dont waste money needlessly on takeaways.
Hello Maisie
I think the key is to batch cook and have ready meals in the freezer for when you come home tired and hungry! Just save those take away containers with the lids and use them for your own home made, healthier meals.
A little planning goes a long way - definitely more for your money for £25! :eek:Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Spent £1.50 in the library on late charges... ooops, £1.20 on books for my daughter and £1.60 on milk and a magazine. So in total : £4.30.
Hopefully will have an NSD tomorrow as I'm not planning on going anywhere...0 -

Well, ended up not going shopping today.
Found some stuff in the freezer which could probably be made to last tomorrow, and will be going out for lunch with a friend on saturday (we're doing a trade, I give him a computer game, he gets me lunch
) so should be able to avoid grocery shopping for a while
