  • Hi Moozie and co

Today I had a doctors appointment at 09h30, well imagine my surprise when my alarm didn't go off and I woke up at 09h25!
I had to get a cab quickly but still arrived at 09h45, luckily my doctor was running a bit late too. The only problem is that I spent £5.00 which I had not intended to spend, but as I'm working all day tomorrow and on call all night, it'll be ok because I won't be able to spend any money and have only spent £9.60 of my weekly challenge money, so still in my £10.00 that I budgeted, thankfully. Am home again now and won't be going out again today, so don't have to worry about spending any more money today. Thanx so much for this great thread, and hope to do even better next week.
    Cheers

    Hi everyone,

I've spent £1.49 on a sandwich for work as I was too lazy to make my lunch this morning.

  • Aiming for another NSD today. Would have liked to have worked from home today - the drive into work was horrendous and the howling winds are interfering with my concentration!

Keep safe everyone - especially those who are travelling

Well, I've not been posting because of being busy, rather than out of shame! Tuesday I spent £1.70 on posting a birthday parcel to my brother and £1.80 on lunch box ingredients instead of buying lunch at work! Yesterday was a no spend day! :j

Today - hopefully a no-spender again! Well, except for an ebay parcel but that doesn't count! :D What am I talking about, hopefully?!?! It will be a no-spender! I have to leave early for work because of the delightful weather  which only leaves me just enough time to have lunch at home, post my parcel and go, so no spending!

I'd better get to it then.... hope everyone has a lovely afternoon/evening :)

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

    Morning Moozie & all.
Fell off the daily reporting wagon, but trying to jump back on. I've reported my total spends for last week on Sundays thread, and totalled this weeks.
So far it's £26.12 + £22.79 for new towels to treat clients/case studies.
Do I include those in this weeks total, or can they come out of what I saved last week ?(because I really was ever so good :D)
Today should be a NSD as the wind is so bad here I'm afraid to go out, lol.
Best wishes to all - and opinions on what should pay for the towels appreciated :D

If you report the 2nd week accurately including the towels but then total the 2 weeks I think you will still be under budget for half of the month- according to your sig you have a monthly budget.

I think that's what great about recording our savings in this way - when we need to spend a little extra no only do we have to justify it, there is actual cash available :D

Didn't want to get up this morning and was rushing around and forgot to get my soup and bread out so had to buy lunch - just got a sausage roll and crisps - only 68p but not exactly healthy but fed up today so comfort eating :o

Also spent 66p on posting ebay and amazon stuff.

And a colleague has just asked me for £2 which she paid for me at the Christmas meal as they were still sorting out the bill when I had to leave to get the bus - don't have £2 to give her so she'll just have to wait - wish she'd told me the next day as I would of had it then

Will be spending some money in between work and my rehearsal tonight on food and need to pop to boots - but I'll try to be on my best behaviour
