Evening Moozie & gang.
I was aiming for a no spender, but I had to go to Lidl to pick up some stuff for work, so I spent £3.37.

Well I was on course for a NSD but OH (away with work in London) just rang to say all trains north are cancelled due to the weather! So I got on to hotels.com (via quidco - at least should get £10 cashback ) to find a hotel room - hardly anything left. Cheapest I could find was £85 - hopefully we'll be able to claim it back from the company but for now it is another emergency hit on the credit card
Poor soul though - stuck another night away and sick of staying in hotels. But at least we found a room - could have been the park bench! 0 -
Evenin' all. :hello:
I have spent £1 on a colleagues 'special landmark birthday' collection which I don't mind as she is lovely.
And that's it!

flowerofscotland wrote:If you report the 2nd week accurately including the towels but then total the 2 weeks I think you will still be under budget for half of the month- according to your sig you have a monthly budget.
I think that's what great about recording our savings in this way - when we need to spend a little extra no only do we have to justify it, there is actual cash available
Yep, I do have a monthly budget and it's been going well so far (now I know why I managed to reduce my debt - I was obviously spending less than I thought, lol) I think that this week might just go over my 'moozies challenge' but then perhaps I can last until Saturday for my groceries
Much as I hate Saturday shopping, it'll be worth it, lol. I've a load of my Body Shop stock on ebay too, and it seems to be going well. I think I might use that to pay for the new couch I need for doing my treatments.
This board is helping me so much - I actually feel much more in control, and as a result the little I do spend is enjoyable because I'm not wracked with guilt when I spend it now (unlike when head was firmly in the sand)
I'm pleased to say that today HAS been another NSD for me. However, I'm venturing into Cardiff tomorrow......
