Well done to Henry on passing his 11 plus
Camelot,so sorry about the hens, really upsetting for you.

Not done too much OSiness today, apart from make chicken stock from the carcass_I'll make some soup tomorrow,DH fancies leek and potato and I've got some spuds that need using. Also did all the ironing, and dh took me to the supermarket:eek:.I really tried my best to keep the total down, but it didnt work.

It felt really cool in the house so DH has lit the woodburner. We had to replace some bars that fit inside, luckily they arrived last week.I was a bit cold in bed last night too,but it shouldnt be too bad now we've warmed the house up a bit.
Anyway thats all from me,so goodnight all, sweet dreams :)

    evening everyone.
camelot - heartbreaking for you , an awful discovery. sorry :(
been a good day here. dry but not sunny. been out with a friend for a coffee then work then gym then tea and finally food shopping. spent way more than i wanted to 83 pounds but we were really low on everything so it needed to be done. i am now all snuggled up and aching but in a good way from the gym. my first time for 9 weeks. i have put on about 7 pounds in weight in that time so i need to start using the gym again.
os wise. washing done, tidying done.
all chores done this week apart from washing the kitchen floor and dusting so that will be tomorrows task as im working on sunday.
hope you have a good evening.

    Evening all!
Should have been working today but wee family emergency yesterday stopped that, and had to take an emergency days holiday....yesterday OH rang me at work at about half 2, his mums hip had popped out of joint again...3rd time....problem as she locks herself in the house and we were both at work, with the keys! Cue panicked rush in the gales to get to her and phone ambulance to get her to hospital! She eventually got to theatre at 8pm yesterday to get it manipulated back, and was sent home before lunchtime!
She will see the ortho surgeon to discuss her hip being replaced in about 2 weeks, hopefully it will get done soon as joint is obviously very unstable and she has no quality of life worrying when it will happen again! yesterday she was dusting, the last time was putting her knickers on!....and she currently has shingles too!!!
Anyways, after getting her home and sorted out I nipped to Sainsbobs for a few bits, and browsed the new Gok Wan collection.....fatal mistake, but am now the proud owner of some lovely jodpur like trousers and a lovely burnt orangey blouse, will do nicely in Turkey, week tomorrow and counting!!!!!
OS-wise, have washed 3 loads, dried on the airers and will start to iron it tomorrow hopefully.
    RIP Iain
