The times I've not had a floor show have generally been when I've dressed in business attire. It's not unusual for people to need tax receipts in order to claim expenses from work or HMRC if self employed. Does depend on the time and location, weekend walk ins are more difficult although I've got away with a Sat breakfast jobbie in a suit or if it's at a road service place. Drive ins you can be a sales rep. The burger place should just make it mandatory for receipts to be issued and then we wouldn't have this nonsense0

you have to complete an invoice for all but a couple of their projects
it has the processing date on it and then payment normally hits your account a couple of days later, but its usually a month later or at the end of that month if the project is at the start.
I know one project has been delayed payment as the client had queries on it, Im not surprised given I had begging calls to do revisits to a couple of locations to jobs that i had turned down first of all, where the previous person had made a compete balls up. People like that (even if from on here im afraid) should be sacked. [rant over]
Dont think you can track anything on their site re jobs and payments.
Did you get sent invoices ?0 -
Most people on here are lovely and helpful, and don't mind Pm'ing where appropriate.
Hmmmmm..... I'd question the appropriate in relation to posting "please PM. me in relation to who shops company x,y,z."
Imagine a hypothetical scenario:
I work in a position at ABC Bank, we get pretty rubbish Mystery shopping results, so having discovered this thread I post a request and get told which company shops ABC Bank. I join said company, and having found out the scenario we score 100% , unfortunately the reason we scored so highly reaches management, who then pull a reasonably well paid scenario from the mystery shopping company.
Ohh.... should add that the hypothetical part of the above was the details as to how the bank found out the details, the rest actually happened to a front page MS company relatively recently...............................
Should add that was the main reason Max from Helion (Hi Max <WAVES> ) stated was there reason why they don't like client names mentioned in forums, and lets face it "The orange supermarket" is the same as actually using the name!0 -

I know even I was surprised how difficult it was to get something with stickers wrong (if you did this project you'll know which i mean if not don't worry)
pm me the clients if you like and ill tell you if they are auto pay
failing that just email the contact for that particular project, they are really nice in the office there0 -
I apologies for any offence caused.
I had been keeping my eye on the alerts thread for some time for the company in question but never seen it mentioned or seen it any of the companies I work for. If I had realised the company in question had been active in publishing press releases about their client then a search on-line would have been better. There was no 'spoon feeding' intended.
You say that you have never seen this retailer mentioned on the Alerts thread. Very many clients never reach the Alerts thread.
In such cases, as other posters have implied, I think that it is safe to assume that the jobs are not visible to apply for/self-allocate. The Alerts thread will only show you what is up for grabs. It will not tell you about direct allocations or "closed-shop" offers from MS companies.
As other posters have said, Google is a good first port of call (before this thread). If you are stuck after googling, then by all means come back here .... and ask.0 -
I notice a lot of the "regulars" have given up posting regularly. Shame but they seem to get shot down in flames when they give a "reasonable" response which is not what people want. At this rate this thread will be abandoned altogether. It is quite reasonable not to be expected to be fed constant information and find out a bit yourself using initiative. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

Nope, I certainly haven't. Too bad, the group has a few shops I'd be quite happy to visit! I keep meaning to ask the same question on here, so thanks for saving me the job
In regards to people ballsing up jobs... call me a snob, but I've always wondered how bad someone's had to have done for a reshop/revisit to be required!0
