I have just started doing this. Signed up with RE and GFK and done a few jobs. I have a couple of quick questions:

1) On GFK, I have done a couple of assignments. However, as soon as I submitted them, they have disappeared - there is nowhere that I can see that says, for example 'did x shop on x date for £x'. Am I missing something? On RE there is a box of the LHS which lists that I am owed £x, but I can't seem to see this on GFK. Has something gone wrong? I hope not, as they owe me £34!

2) On RE, the link reads '35 visits available', but when I click it, there are only about six that come up. Why is this?

Unfortunately you can't, however when you do get paid you can see a 'Pay Statement' under Payment History of the My details tab which will break down the cash in back as being £a for job a £b for job b etc.

I only recently got back with GFK so cant advise you on them

With RE the visible visits will depend on what you have selected in the sections at the top on the visits available section. Choose the jobs you want to see and they will be the ones displayed however the number you see on the link is all jobs available within your defined catchment plus jobs at Gatwick airport.

Anyone else here still get emails from Bare? I'm getting a crazy number of emails about one project and its driving me up the walls. Seriously its like spam. But they are saying they only way I can stop getting this email is to stop getting all emails from them :mad::mad::mad:

Oh, I know, they did last month. 2 visits in the same timeframe on the same day. One was a breakfast originally and I went for a dinner.

yes i realised these had returned to dominos via their facebook. i must stop spending copious amounts of money on their pizza though but it is great although v expensive. one time the delivery guy was very cheeky and said "you can open up the door wider if you want" because i was wearing shorts and t shirt and didn't really want to reveal a lot of flesh. this kind of annoyed me but i don't usually send a complaint email to any company. i did once email cadburys because my tin of roses only contained 2 types of chocolates and they sent me a gift voucher for £5.

I was doing a visit to a new car sales place today. Part of the brief said that if I was offered a test drive I had to do it. So, I was offered the test drive, but the car said it only had enough fuel to go 4 miles. We stopped at the garage to put petrol in - and the salesman put the petrol in while the engine was running. Was this safe? Would you mention it in the report?

I'm no expert but you're supposed to turn your engine off, not use a mobile phone etc in the petrol station... I'd have been somewhat anxious if that happened!

In other news, why is it so freaking cold.

Anyone done the GFK merchandising jobs - how hard is the thing to put together? There's a couple near me I could do but given my lack of ability to put things together could imagine it taking rather longer than they suggest and getting rather stressed about it!
