Hurrah, Bare money's in the bank0

My RE and Bare money has appeared too
I will keep doing non reimbursement Bare jobs but definitely nothing with reimbursements as it isn't worth the waiting.
Need to do my updating of the payment spreadsheet for December I think
I am not sure I follow the logic of doing this? You would be better off ONLY doing the reimbursement jobs if you continue to work for them?0 -

Reimbursement means you've paid your own money up front for a purchase which can sometimes run into hundreds of pounds. With Bare you're waiting 3 months to get your own money back so you're out of pocket.
Non reimbursement, you've lost nothing but your time and a bit of petrol. Simples.0 -

I incur petrol and parking costs, not to mention my time going to cash these...
and its quite common for other businesses to do it ?
With the number of bank mystery shops available I have never made a special trip to bank a cheque yet. I may be holding on to the cheque for a couple of weeks but the interest lost is minimal.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Absolutely! In these cases mystery shopping is pointless and a waste of money for the client. The biggest giveaway is asking for a receipt at a fast food outlet or asking a supermarket staff member what you should cook for dinner tonight.0 -

Reimbursement means you walk away with something tangible for your efforts there and then. With Bare that is generally a piece of jewellery that is very saleable, put it on eBay and you will get almost your full value back within a week. You are therefore paid very quickly for your visit and when the money does come through from Bare you have a little bonus. Doing non reimbursement visits you stand the cost of the travel etc. for up to 3 months. Of course if you want the piece of jewellery then you will wait 3 months for it but at least it has cost you very little. Simples really

I gave up worrying about the scenarios a long time ago, if the MS companies don’t want to vary the scenario then there is nothing I can do about it, there are a few out there that have been the same for years and every MOS knows them. Totally worthless results IMHO but it won’t stop me doing them, if I get sussed it will be because of the scenario not my abilities.

I suppose that's another way of looking at it but I can't be faffed with ebaying purchases and Bare don't have anything to buy I would normally buy. Its ok though if you can take it back and get a refund like the recent high end beauties.0 -

had to "act" another role today too when approached on a covert competitor job by the store manager... pulled it off though thankfully

With the amount of bank jobs around for GFK nobody needs to wait more than a few days for a free trip to the bank.

Sadly I could not do the high end beauty products but they looked good earners for little effort. As I am sat at my computer a lot I find that ebay’ing the bare jewellery would be a pretty easy task, a few minutes to upload and drop it in to the post office when I am out and about.
