RM, is that is who we are talking about, have annoyed me of late. They sent an email out listing about 10 shops of varying types in my town, I responded fairly promptly and all bar two utter dregs were left with fees that would make AA and RE blush with embarrassment. Not only that but the report was the same as if it was for a much higher paying assignment. God knows who would do them but it wasn't going to be me.

Ditto, i actually phoned within 2 mins of getting an email with approx 20 jobs a couple of weeks ago and offered to do 12 visits, 6 in each of 2 locations.

    there was 2 visits left...

I am starting to think there must be 2 RMs. I have nothing but good stuff from them.
I got the same call today and was offered a fair fee unprompted. Maybe thats a bit subjective because we all have our price but it was at least treble what RE would have paid for a similar job.
I always seem to get premium work off RM too although I have had the same experience with the email job lists.
The last job I did for them earlier this week they offered me mileage and printing costs without any prompting.
  • Is anyone having trouble getting the job notes up.I am getting a blank screen every time.

I had this with a job earlier in the week. In the end I had to contact Gyp (webenquiry and email - belt and braces!) and they sent me a pdf.
  • Hi Proshopper,

Was that the po job ?

If it was could you send me the pdf. I want to do it half an hour ago and I will probably get a response on monday.

I can sort out the code with them later.

I hardly have any oppportunity to work with RA, can anybody advise whether we are likely to see payment for the pharmacy jobs before Christmas, or will it be a help towards the January bills?

I have tried to search to find out but alas no joy.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

I am not banking on it this side of Christmas as I had a payment on the 8th December so suspect it will be same next month.
  • I don't like RM. I very rarely hear from them, until I get a message about an urgent job that needs doing that day or something, but with no increase in fee.

RE do annoy me with their stupid queries (one of my favourites was when I said a hotel did not have ANY magazines available, and they kept coming back asking "but did it have this specific magazine? How about this one?"), but they have been very good about rescheduling a job for me twice as I've been ill.

I have not really had any major problems with RM. The allocators are friendly and helpful bar one of them who is a bit of a moo! (Has anyone noticed they ALWAYS say Good Afternoon even when you call them even at 9am?). They have always paid me on time. The only problem I have with them is they expect us to do VERY URGENT jobs at the drop of a hat for no increase in fee/mileage. I've seen their fees drop gradually which is a bummer but I guess it seems to be happening everywhere. The mens shirt shop dropped a £1 and then another 50p over the last 2 years! Boohoo.

What are your thoughts on PIP and UKIMS? I'm getting increasingly frustrated with both as I never get any work from them (I'm not going to the cheap clothes shop for PIP, it's sooooooo not me, and the posh chocolates get pinched as soon as they go on!) and I am beginning to think about deactivating my accounts with both. Discuss.....

I had the same issue with the PO/corner shop job. Eventually got the brief last night but really not keen on the brief. Think I'm being thick. Also the list of debit cards to use for this does not include mine.. emailed them last night, expect a reply monday...
