), and wondered if there's any problem with getting payments in Euros into certain banks? Which ones don't charge? I'll open a new basic account somewhere else if needs be.
HSBC are good. I haven't had any charges from them for payments in Euros.0 -
Speaking of Helion payments - had my pay statement via email this morning. Excited for that to hit the account within the next few days or so0

Thanks, will check what Natwest and Co-op say but will go with HSBC if either of them are going to charge me. Have to watch every penny at the moment!0

I would switch my main account manually to prevent this but I have no full-time job and a permanent overdraft so no-one else will have me.
Got a basic Co-op account for MS money to go into though, so that it doesn't disappear into the overdraft. I should do what I see some others have done and put the debt total on my signature, to help inspire me to pay it off faster. Think I'll wait until Christmas is over.

The Co-op don't charge for Euro payments into my account so it will be fine to get money into that one0 -
Am I the only one who judges gapburgers more harshly when they get the floor show?
it's annoying to be sent to sit down while they make you a new burger, instead of giving you one that's already there. and they put so much ketchup on it it was really hard to eat. And really, if someone is obviously reading business papers, do you think interuppting them to ask how their food is would be welcome?
it's made me all grumpy.0 -

Ah, excellent, thank you. I phoned them last night to ask and they said they thought they did charge, but I should phone back today when the foreign currency team were in to make sure. That's good to know though.0 -

I got an email from Helion to say the statement was viewable in my account - the statement wasn't attatched to the email like some companies do. HTH0

I know what you mean. When they start knocking your feet to clean under your table and interrupting you at least 3 times (no joke) to ask if everything's ok, it makes me want to put some demands like a free drink or pudding or something. See how much they REALLY want the good report! I never order the burgers so can't comment on that bit...
Got a bit cross with my gappizza delivery today. Why can they never bring you the right dip you order? I specifically bought an extra one and they still only brought one. I rang them up to tell them to bring me the right one and they terminated the call then just ignored the request! Going to demand something free next time I ring.I got an email from Helion to say the statement was viewable in my account - the statement wasn't attatched to the email like some companies do. HTH
