I've been using a notes app on my phone if I've got to remember lots of people - one I did last weekend I had to give names AND descriptions of people who greeted me in 6 different departments. I don't think it looks too obvious if you stop to tap something on your smartphone screen half way through your visit - just like you're sending a text or something. But then, there have been a couple of jobs which have specifically stated that you must not use a mobile phone or be otherwise distracted.0

I've had 2 phonecalls in 2 days along the lines of 'how much would it take for you to do the assignment'. I told them they'd need to come up with a ridiculous figure to have me to do a 50 mile round trip and suffer a busy town centre shopping mall. I feel really mean no for saying no.0

I've never done the carry-out ones either, just the express, but I usually go to the loo first whatever fast-food job I'm on and no-one's ever looked twice at me for it. I'm sure they get it all the time. Have seen signs in a couple of city centre ones about the toilets being customer only but even then no-one's stopped me going in.marvellousaunt wrote: »Mad - is it one of the bucket ones then? I've never done those. I often pop into a gapburger just for the loo, don't worry!
I always go to the loo first, but I went to one place in the town centre and noticed a lock on the door. You had to buy something first and the code to get in the toilet was on the receipt. At least I had a genuine reason to make sure I had the receipt, but it was annoying because I couldn't leave my food unattended to go to the loo and obviously I was on my own, so I had to eat slowly for the required amount of time whilst jiggling up and down on the seat and fending off polite enquiries from the floor staff. :j0 -
I get the cleaning staff to watch the food and go. If not, I go first after waving my intentions at the staff.0

Is anyone else doing one of the software audit jobs?
I'm trying to enter the results this evening, but the login details are no longer working - they worked fine earlier this evening. They're communal details and I'm wondering if another shopper has locked the account out.
The particular thing I'm worried about is that they won't allow the results to be entered tomorrow - it has to be on the same day without fail. I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.
I've emailed them and hope they'll be fine about it but I'm obviously worried - it was out of the way for me and it would be a lot of hassle to re-shop it.Competition wins:
2010 - approx £450. 2011 - approx £800. 2012 - approx £300. 2013 - nothing so far!0 -
Hi, Wondering if anyone can post a link to the optimum contact log in page. Have been blocked out of my email and need to enter results. Search just comes up with the company homepage and nowhere to log in!

Question - I've seen some of the attractive offers for switching your current account. I've had the same one since I was a teenager and generally satisfied with it, I suppose, but might want to take advantage of some of the offers in the New Year.
Has anyone done this after being all set up with the MS companies - do you think the faff at changing your bank details with 8+ companies wouldn't be worth the incentive to swtich?0 -

I threatened to move my account from lloyds and they gave me £150 of m&s vouchers. Even if you move it to another bank just keep your current one open and treat it as a ms only account or something then you don't need to change everything.0
