Anyone ever negotiated extra points with the eating co that cant be named. I had to cancel a job at short notice and lost 10 points a while ago. Need 5 to bring me up to the top level again. There is a job I can do (it's short notice cancellation) but I'd want an extra 5 points. What's the chances?0

Don't be afraid to ask them, they're so nice. They can only say "no", but hopefully "yes"! Good luck. I'd you don't ask, you don't get! Let us know hoe you get on.0 -

I know this is a stupid mistake but having joined another two MS companies, I am only just getting around to sorting tax. Can I backdate? It won't be much as income so little from MS but need to get it sorted and the fine is scaring me. I know it is my fault but no excuse for not sorting now, especially as I am taking a few more jobs on. I do have records. I didn't know this thread existed until I googled MS and tax. Thank you (I am already v angry at my stupidity I promise).0

Read post one, you need to register as self employed ASAP (and for a small incomes exemption certificate if appropriate), tax is not yet due for the 2010-2011 year so unless you've been doing it for an extended period of time its not an issue.0 -
Thanks Dazza. I did read post 1 but did a bit before this time. Have been caught up with life etc after losing one of our daughters. Just wondered what hmrc might say about the bit before. I can follow procedure from there on etc. Thanks again.0

I suspect HMRC would be kind on you to be honest, as long as you register and seek to make sure you pay all tax owing. They would much rather you come forward than try and avoid it!0

I did my first ESA job last week and submitted my report/pics/receipt the same day. I've just had a generic system generated email chasing it up but I see that it's been approved and marked 'OK to Pay' when I click on my Pay History. Is this worth calling them about or just a little ESA quirk I don't know about yet?0

How long ago do you think you owe tax from?0 -
Gap added my premium! Woo!
Picked up a healthy vitamins shop in my local town as well. Same as posh sarnies fee, plus double that reimbursement for products that I will use anyway - so that's a good one for me. Won't take long either to do on my way home. Off to do an e-reader one for RE (fee only), one of those where you have to get them to write the product down, so we'll see how that goes. Looking forward to it actually, these are my favourite the electronics ones! Hahaha.
Then drive through gapburger on the way home, kill me now. One more tomorrow and then I'm done with my 6 for the month. Hope I win at least £10 bonus for all this!0
