React do a place that has baby things in, but whenever I've done it you have to take the item back.0

Anyone know who does any baby shops? Spent today in the maternity unit of the local hospital for my wifes 12 week scan
Congratulations NIM - I am pregnant too - 18 weeks... Its good to get over the 3 month milestone.. I hope all is going well with you.
I am really trying to increase my assignment volume in the next few months - and plan on putting the money aside to help out next year when I am on Maternity leave!0 -
Congrats NIM and starfish.
Best advice is to start hording the small stuff now! When you do regular shopping (or MS jobs) buy odds and ends like packets of wipes, plain vests, muslins, etc. You don't notice the cost, but you can build up a canny stash of stuff before baby arrives. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Congratulations Nim and Starfish. Do you need to find somewhere that sells maternity clothes first of all? Major expense and not as nice as buying baby clothes. Unless you are one of those who has teeny weeny bump and no-one knows you ( or your other half ) is pregnant. I was just a beached whale personally.0

Yeah Start getting GAP Supermarkets and buy baby stuff! they always have deals and the reimbursement can get you a box of nappies!0

This time last year Gap sacked me from the corner shops. This year they've sacked me from the stamp shops. Feeling a wee bit annoyed with them this morning. :mad:0

Review of shopper database. Could accept that with the corner shops as there were some branches that I felt I was doing quite often. But not with the stamp shops. I had even covered isolated branches that they couldnt get covered.
Thinking of de-registering from Gap. They now only have 4 shops (burger, fuel, the lot) within 15 miles of me and it's barely worth it for that.
Has anyone de-registered and re-registered with them, say 3 months later? Would my details have been scrubbed so that I could start again with all shops?0 -
I love the stamp shops, especially if you post a freepost something or other (eg LoveFilm return) and get a proof of purchase, no expenditure and take the whole fee as profit. Awesome. Sorry to hear that
I've never seen anything on Gap except: petrol, supermarket, stamp shop, pizza, burger, chicken... what's happened to all the other clients?0 -
I didn't know they had a corner shop. Only company I ever deregistered from is AA. I think you'd have to wait a year to definitely be clear of any amount of time they can hold you on file for. Although I don't know if they are under UK Data Protection legislation or somewhere else given the number of countries they cover. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
