    Check your BARE expenses!
Was just helping a friend out with her BARE account as she couldn't understand what had happend. But it seems in the jewellery store if you spend the reimbursement amount they are taking that and not considering the exchange...
ABOUT TO USE FAKE NUMBERS! - these are not the actual numbers
    For example

if the reimbursment amount was 100.00 EUROS and that worked out to be 80 GBP and you spent the 80 GBP they are changing the expenses to 80 whereas they should be leaving it at 100EUROS... Make sense?

Just have a look hopefully this will save someone else some money too!!

Thanks for that JEN. Still none the wiser, I never understand their conversions. I never really question it as I am just too excited when they finally pay. Will pay attention this time.

Has anyone ever had extra fee/mileage for urgent RM or GR visits?

Anyone else getting lots of emails from TNS saying put the date of your phone shops in or we will deallocate? !!!!!!! There are no available dates.

Jen, I queried that this week and they said that the reimbursement was showing in Pounds!

Interestingly I got a letter from them saying that payments should be resolved by 9th December. However it sounded more as if they were trying to explain that they were solvent. I can PM you the letter if you want.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

For the information of all shoppers letter received from Bare

    November 30, 2011

    Re.: Payments to European Shoppers

    Dear Shopper,

From the team at BARE Europe a heartfelt “Thank You” for your continued contributions to the efforts and successes
of BARE. I would like to thank you for your services, without which we know BARE would not be able to retain and
    grow it’s impressive client base.

As you will have noticed, shopper payments during this past month have been unexpectedly delayed. Some of you
may remember that BARE Europe was facing a similar issue in the very beginning of this year.

First, it is important to once again stress to you all that this is not due BARE’s inability to pay shoppers. At the
beginning of 2011, BARE restructured its corporate identity from a Belgian limited liability company to a subsidiary of
a US company. As a result, BARE Europe was faced with unforeseen banking issues that delayed the processing of
funds. As we are beginning to close out the year, we are once again in a situation where we find it necessary to work
with our bank through year-end closing procedures that unfortunately delay shopper payments by a small amount of
    time.

This is unfortunate and I personally would like to apologize to you all for this delay.

We are working at the greatest speed possible to resolve these issues and we fully expect that all payment issues
should be resolved by Friday, December 9th at the latest, hopefully before then.

I am personally grateful for your understanding and patience and you have mine as well as BARE’s reassurance that all
payments to you will be processed in the greatest speed possible. - As soon as there are further updates over the
coming days, I will ensure that those are communicated to you immediately.

Should you have direct questions, please feel free to contact either your resource manager or myself personally at
ddannenmann@bareinternational.com. -- Once again “Thank You” for your contributions as well as your patience
and understanding in this matter. With personal regards,
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Uh huh, well Im skeptical-- I mean its always shown in euros never in pounds.
  • What have I done.
I have 472 applications across 48 companies for various MS jobs on top of my 62 self assigned jobs.
Let's hope I dont get them all.
They all need completing before 14th so may have to start subcontracting ;)
  • But to cheer my mood, I just opened up the "small purchase" I made yesterday at a toy shop and the chinese translation on the little enclosed leaflet says "This game is !!!!!!. No danger if you are in a fire."
    Brilliant!

Really can't see how that is right when they only use Euro....why would everything apart from this be in Euro?

that is why I queried it because it does normally show in Euros. I am not saying I believe them nor am I defending them.

Here is what they told me in an email

The reason why in your shop log the amount is xx is because it is in pounds
    and not euros.
