Just seen a nice restaurant job on RE that I'd really like to take, trouble is I presume its been released by another shopper as the only available shop date was today.
If I take it and then email RE asking them to rearrange it for another day would that be okay or is that considered naughty?:D0 -
Anyone having problems with RA?
I can complete the form and when I press 'submit' I just get 'please wait' have done it about 10 times now, and waited patiently0 -
Anyone got any experience of street parking in Central London on a Saturday or Sunday night? Managed to rope myself into a React visit without looking too closely into the finer details of it. It's a late evening visit which won't be finished until around 10.30pm. Normally if I go into London I park at my local train station and get the train in but this costs a few pounds more than the travel allowance so I thought about taking my car and parking at a meter as it's free after 6.30 but I don't want to end up not getting a space - any ideas? Wish I'd looked at the specific venue before applying! How frowned upon is cancelling a React job?0

I had this issue earlier, but I just kept trying and it seemed to work fine eventually. Try leaving the site altogether and going back again (if you haven't already done so).0 -
How much faff are the GFK Home shopping assignments? Am presuming you need to pay postage both ways out of the fee and then you obviously need to get the item delivered and then take it back. Can't decide whether to do one or not0

I have done the shopping jobs before, but to be honest I will not have time for the faffing about. You can claim the postage back for sending you the items as long as you tell them in writing, and quote distance selling regulations. They are not very good at refunding the postage and you may have to phone up to remind them! Despite telling them over the phone I always send an email to customer services stating that I am returning them under distance selling. However even under distance selling regulations you have to bear the return postage costs, so if you do one make sure you order a light item! So therefore out of the headline fee you have to take into account the return postage etc to see if it is worthwhile for you.
If they bring out competitors be very savvy before accepting them. One of the competitors phone lines charge a ridiculous amount a minute on their ORDERING line, and believe you me you have to listen to a message before eventually getting through to an operator! No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -
So how is December shaping up for everyone? I thought people said it was normally quiet? I'm getting emails and calls offering me more work! Think I've accepted too much. Got about 15 visits for next Tuesday. Crumbs! Have a good weekend all.0

I see somebody has dropped a visit to the Catalogue Store at a very very busy shopping centre (I know I thought I would pop in there on my way to work this week, crazy crazy crazy). Will I be picking it up? Despite knowing that it would hell I still have to convince myself not to take the job, at the beginning I used to take every job going until I realised I was travelling miles and the costs outweighed the fee, but I still sometimes think like that!No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

I went from having a few jobs to it being so silly I had to take a day off normal work to complete the jobs yesterday. It is that mentality of accepting the jobs because I am afraid they will not come around again! However I have set my cut off date as 14th December. I am so busy at my normal job that I realise that trying to cram too many jobs is no good for my stress levels or for the company! No Matter what you do there will be critics.0
