can anyone get in to ABA-i yet? so annoying when you are desperate to get a report on..grr!0
-
ABAI is still down (Sunday).
On another note, a lot of talk here is about RE paying tiny amounts. Being very new to MS, I understand others will pay more for similar jobs?
I did an RE assignment last week - phone call, pictures, purchases, inspections, talking to staff, photocopies and of course travel, yet the reward was less than the minimum wage!

I've developed a method with the barely-minimum-wage RE jobs. I won't do them in isolation, only at the same time/location as a better well paid job or jobs. So for instance, if I have two jobs booked in a city centre, I'll look for a simple RE job to basically pay my travel costs. I know the reports can be an absolute PITA, but I can do them in my sleep now so it's not a bother for me.0 -
Is GFK back up for anyone yet? I know they're doing maintainance... but it's my Sunday accounts session and I'm only missing GFK to finish off November's accounts, booooo0
-
Just tried GfK, and no it's not working, so not just you!
Still says try again after 5pm!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I think GfK has died.
But I don't buy that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. He was the patsy for a very deep and complex conspiracy.0 -
years ago I used to work as a supervisor for royal burgers while at college, and we def got shopped then, just cant for the life of me remember who used to do it.
staff member got a £20 bonus for a "gold" standard and we knew a time frame when they would be visited as in between 1-15th of the month and what they would order as it was very specific just the same thing in all stores all the time, but its something you may order any how and receipts were given as standard, so less obvious, it was just more so when you would get shoppers, generally female, in smart business suits coming in and ordering by them selves, that stood out a little, especially if at a weekend.
Edit:
ive just found a marketing article that states it was GR for the UK and Ireland (dated 1998) so that would tie in for that period, not sure who does it now though, the article interestingly had the following text,
The Market Research Society (MRS) code of conduct governing mystery shopping warns: ’Staff should be made aware that evaluator spotting is
not acceptable, since there is the possibility of annoying genuine
customers.’ And it adds: ’Procedures may need to be put in place to
ensure that evaluators are not harassed’.
perhaps some one should remind GAP and their client of this !0 -
I've done a royal burger with RE in the past. Not for a while though...0

I've done a royal burger with RE too but it was in a train station and, I think, part of the station's assessment as the other outlets in the same location all appeared at the same time. Hope that makes sense!0

Ok, I looked on the first page on this thread and the answer wasn't there, before I get my head bitten off.
Does anyone here who has done work for retail active know what their payment period is or how long after an assignment they pay you? Do they have a specific date they do their pay run? Anything? Anyone? Please?0
