All this talk of RE has reminded me why I rarely bother with them these days.
The level of their fees is just about the worst in the industry although RA seem to give them a run for their money sometimes.
I used to do a lot of work for them by cramming in loads of jobs in the same area and making a days pay up that way. But the questionnaires are a joke more often than not.
For all the 100s of MS jobs i've ever done I have only had 3 queries come back ever and all of them from RE.
That said, I'm doing a sandwich for them on Thursday but purely because I am doing 3 ESA banks nearby on the same day and it's way out of my usual area. A free lunch before I do my other jobs for TNS later is the only way to approach RE work for me nowadays.
But to be positive about them, they always always always have paid me correctly and on time, the pay is fortnightly so no waiting around for money I earned months ago and I have always found them to be friendly and helpful on the phone.
RE were the first MS company I worked for and for a new MSer they were a good company to gain experience with. The long winded questionnaires teach you to be accurate and detailed whilst challenging your creative writing skills (Answering the same question 10 different ways) and if you can please RE you can please anyone.0 -

You know the other burger people? Not the gapburgers, the 'Royal' burgers? Do they not get shopped? If they do can someone let me know who by please. I much prefer them to the other ones but never hear them being mentioned.
And just out of interest, remember Wimpys? Do they still exist anywhere? I haven't seen one of them for years. You used to get a proper plate and knife and fork there too!!0 -

GFK pay on 25th and 10th so you should have been paid on Friday. For jobs completed between 25th and 9th (I think) you get paid on the 25th then for jobs between 10th and 24th you get paid on 10th. I seem to keep doing jobs on either the 25th or the 10th for them so seem to end up waiting a month to get paid.0 -
I hadn't been in a proper plate burger place for decades but I had a very good experience. I couldn't believe how nice the food and service was. Seems like it's a bit hit and miss depending on location!
I did mine about 6 months ago but not seen it on ESA since so maybe they stagger where they are done throughout the year?
No idea about the royal burgers.
I'm taking part in the RE new reporting form trial. It's a little bit like the GR reports in layout. I did a station refreshment job and although there is still too much repetition having to put small comments in for Yes answers the report did seem more user friendly.0 -
