  • I tried to go to the cinema tonight, as a customer and not a shopper. First time in about 2 years as we rarely manage to get babysitters. The ONLY film showing was the new Twilight one and I didn't want to see that one! This is a big cinema too, in the Metro Centre. How typical is that! I did think "Thank God I'm not checking trailers!"

I haven't seen that many stupid, giggling teenagers and their equally hysterical mothers since Take That were at the Stadium of Light.
  • Quick question! With the petrol station competitor jobs, do you have to visit the client's one first?

I did one the other week and visited the client first and then the competitor but I have another one today and it will be so much easier to visit the competitor first.

The ms company will obviously be able to check which one I visited first by receipt times so just wondering whether anyone knew if doing the competitor first was okay.

Have to do the client one first I'm afraid.

In unrelated events, is anyone doing a visit from the current wave of deep discounters for IMS?
I can't get the handwritten list to load up and was planning to do one today but no one is in the office.

Asking on behalf of my brother: Can vouchers be used for GYP pizza deliveries? I am sure someone said a while ago you could. Can someone confirm this? Also, what kind of vouchers? Any? How about "half price if you order more than £35"? Many thanks.

Also does the blasted new "Decline Visits" bullish on GFK actually work? I've told them via the declined thing that I do NOT want to do visits in Hull and Hornsea until the end of 2012 (bloody miles away from Leeds in the first place!!), but they keep popping up! Annoying big time. Is the declined visits thing working for anyone else?

Its working for me but it only blocks the EXACT visit. I think its still being worked on. Drop them an email, they seem pretty good to deal with.

So you were there as well? You must have been, to have seen them?? Who's your favourite ... I bet you're a Mark man!!!

I saw them at Wembley and I have to say there weren't that many teenagers there ...mainly middle age women who were having a good time!

I used a BOGOF voucher last night. I scrutinised the brief and nowhere did it say you couldn't use a coupon. It definitely used to. So I bought one pizza, got one free, and paid extra for a side. The pizza I paid for and the side were what I commented on, I didn't mention the other.

I have used coupon for pizza and got lots of extra stuff in the order too like 2 pizzas, desserts and it was ok with Gyp. I think any voucher.

Not to do with Pizza but on a related matter, GAP confirmed that you couldn't use the small cook loyalty card for those assignments.
