Even in the same store, I felt better asking about dog food as I've had dogs all my life compared to feeling nervous about asking for help with cat food as I don't know a thing about cats.
Lol, this reminds me of an RE pet shop I did last Christmas. I wasn't being too picky last Christmas with fees, if there was a job I could do which I could get a present out of which would save me buying it, I was more willing to put up with crappy RE reports for example.
Anyway, my sister had recently got a new puppy so we wanted to get it a Christmas Present (of course!!) so I accepted the job.
It was about dog food, and I've never had a dog in my life. So I was busy googling beforehand, deciding what sort of dog I had, how old it was etc, and what it's name was!
The shop assistant though was sooooooo enthusiastic and turned out to be a MASSIVE dog lover. He was literally asking me everything possible about my dog and telling me all about his dogs.
Think that was one of my most nervous jobs, especially as my other half had had to come into the shop after a bit as the baby was getting bored in the car, and I could see him trying not to laugh at me as he'd walked past and overheard a bit.
The whole thing probably left me so confused and in such a muddled state that I'm sure 'my' dog's name changed about 5 times, as did whether it was 'he' or 'she'!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Hi All
I completed an assignment for Shop Angels last month and still haven't been paid for it - has anyone been paid from them.
I have emailed them with no response as yet.
Thanks as always.0 -
Oooh, and also, just in response to what someone else said about getting more comfortable the more times you've done a scenario (was at the end of the previous page I think, but I've already started writing this now so can't be bothered to go back and quote!!
)...
While this is obviously true, it's also important to make sure you don't get too complacent with any job, as this could have the opposite effect.
I used to do a fair few Gap burgers, just because they were quick and easy and if there was one for when I was passing anyway then I would tend to pick them up as fillers for an extra few quid each week that didn't take any real thought or effort. But then as I got more picky (and fatter!!) I hadn't done one for months.
Picked up a couple for last month as they had acceptable premiums, so off I went - Gap Timer in hand (not really, wouldn't want to take such a precious gadget out of [STRIKE] my sons toybox[/STRIKE] the house) Timing was fine, I'd remembered that, but I got to the front to be invited to order, and suddenly thought " Oh $h!t, what am I allowed to order?!?!?"
I usually always read all the notes anyway even for jobs I've done a million times before just in case there are any changes or tweaks etc, but I must admit I had just scrolled down to write down the web express code that time instead!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Further to my previous post re GFK tech audits, if you are doing them in any postcode not just the one i mentioned, check your allocations as it seems a system error has led to other being affected too. Allocator has sent an email explaining.0

I got the email so went to check and the 'odd' store is only 2 minutes away from me. The circuit I usually have is 50 miles away so I was a lil miffed. Luckily today I've booked some doughnuts, a pub lunch, a few car visits and some makeup to help with the mileage0 -
