I'm sure they assigned me one at half the fee it was posted at. Think I might be binning them, which is sad as they are actually a company based locally to me.

I binned AA recently. With the amount of shops I am getting at the moment, I guess I can be selective. And I'm sorry, but I don't get out of bed to be paid their pittance fees. :p:p:p

UKIMS is probably on the hit list next, along with possibly ESA (only worth it if you can get a circuit, well p***ed off when they cut fees for most visits) and then RE (not seen jobs on there in ages even though I've not done a music/book/super posh french sandwich shop in like over a year)!

Loads of love to SKIERGIRL re: your Dad's chemo. Hope he is OK and you are OK too.
  • Bit sad about the minimum age of 30 in the Bare electronics visits... a couple near me and the scenario would be appropriate to someone in late 20s. Never to mind!

I'm doin ok with IMS at the moment, keeping me ticking over. ESA I agree its not worth it without a circuit, but I'm usually able to get one. RE I've seen nothing but restaurants in holiday parks for nearly a month now and I'm getting rather sick of it.

I've only ever done 1 visit for UKIMS to the RE health food shop and nothing since. I think they have special shoppers who get regular work and if they can't do it, the leftovers come to us mere mortals, but I ain't having no ones sloppy seconds!:mad::mad: Think I will stick to my REACT, GR, RM and TNS etc.

TNS are the only ones in that group I get even semi regular work from.
GR have offered me one job ever, RM is dry pretty much all the time and React just seem to do London, I've done one burger, one ice cream and a stand assessment for them in 14 months.

I'm surprised at the RE hatred! I've clocked up £100 from them this month, some nice airport meals and cocktails before flying out on holiday, got the reports down to a fine art (10 mins max) with not a single proofreading query.

I've given up on Gyp though.

but how many jobs did you do for that £100 and time spent on the jobs inc return travel and entering report.
Airport job on way to holiday may be an exception given you were there with time to kill, but ordinarily I think to earn that much in fees not reimbursements must have taken you below minimum wage.

I try an balance the fees of a job out for a pro rata minimum of £10 an hour , or its not worth doing

as for my ramdom ims pos delivery just had the following in reply:
The last cycle of visits was last week, so I can only think that this is a late delivery, therefore you can dispose of it.

    Hi,

Apologies in adance for asking this question (which i am sure has probably been asked a hundred times before, but I didn't have the time to read through the whole thread)

I work full time and was just wondering if you had specific days and times you are supposed to complete a mystery shop assignment? Obviously with me working full time, I could not be very flexible with days and times.

Also wondered if anyone had any advice on what the best mystery shop company is or if I should sign up for a few?

    Thanks.

    Hiya

You don't need specific days and times per se. Each assignment has specific times it can be done but this varies from job to job and will be specified in advance.

I work full time too and I fit quite a bit in around work etc.

As regards companies to work for, where you are and what you like to do will have a bearing, as will how much you are willing to take for it. RE for example have a lot of different types of work but are fairly low on the ladder in terms of fees.

Thanks for that. Might sign up for a couple to start with and see what is offered.
