and I ride a MZ motorbike, as they can be fixed at home and they can do over 70 mpg.

Would love a proper MZ motorbike, one of the 2 stroke 250s... just the right thing to practice my mechanic skills on!

  • errmmm - that's me in the quiet corner here:o:o and there's another thing i do with the tissue too before it gets flushed.. but i can't tell you what..now that's way-too-much-information!:eek::eek: if this chimes with someone, pls share! (as in admitting you do this too, not sharing the used-tissues!!)

and re. the used dental-floss, now that's sosoosososo disgusting, but pls.. there's enough of it to go round for months doesn't it?! i have plenty bought massively reduced for a big box of 10, i can send you some if you like!!

I just can't imagine what you do!I don't know,do you clean the toilet bowl below the water level with it?

As for my dental floss habit,it's quite alright to re-use (I've asked a dentist). You just rinse it and let it dry.I loop it over the dental floss box to do this.Mind you if I've got visitors I don't tend to do this....:o

I suppose my habit stems from the fact that I abhor any plastic waste. This includes dental floss, small as it is...so I eke it out.One day we will be drowning under all the plastic waste that we use and then chuck.

PS I haven't yet worked out how to multi-quote...(Can anyone explain? When I clicked on the multi-quote icon, nothing happened.).
  • errr... i can't admit so readily just yet.. just too much!

[QUOTE when your mascara is getting old and dried out try putting a little water on the brush and then using it to stir up the mascara, gives it a whole new lease of life!

    Please don't do this one!...

Adding water isn't a good idea as this interferes with the ingredients in the mascara and leads to bacterial growth that ultimately could lead to some nasty eye infections!

I line cat trays with a newspaper folded in half...This reduces the amount of cat litter needed to about 1/3 - the Mirror is good for this as its usually quite thick - No I don't buy the paper Father in law does!

Pegs are used to keep bread and other perishable items fresh for longer like half eaten big bags of tortilla chips...Also to stop bags of frozen veg etc from spilling all over the freezer - In fact pegs are used for a multitude of reasons!

:heartpuls Gains & £'s saved..Far too many to mention! Needless to say I LOVE MSE! :heartpuls

  • I sometimes get on the train well before it's due to leave, and check to see if anyone has left a newspaper on the seats, then I get off again with the newspaper, otherwise I have to buy an 'I' to read.
