Well done :T Haven't seen any of the play doh near me either. Just proves that there is more sale stuff in the warehouses, which means more bargains for all of us :D

No it isn't theft. Shops aren't allowed to oversticker with a higher price. In every shop I've ever worked in that uses labels whenever there's been a price rise I've had to scrupulously remove all evidence of the lower price including any offending barcodes before sticking the new price on.

This forum does not need people endorsing removal price stickers just to try and fudge a cheaper price. You'll see warning stickies all over about not posting voucher codes etc on these posts, due to legal problems MSE had. I think there would be even more if we all started posting about doing this

so if you suspect you can get it cheaper with the sticker off, try honesty and just ask at checkout... i asked for a reduced sticker on a expensive item to be removed a few weeks ago, so i could have it for a few pounds as reported on here (was a saving of £20 more than the existing stickered priced if i got it) the lady on the till looked stunned and said no but got the manager who said fine and she took the label off, so it's not theft if you ask first...

Sorry, I meant, ppl just going in and taking the stickers off the moon dough willy nilly , to get the cheaper price.

Asking is completely different, and good on you!!! lol x :j
