I had to go through the toy aisle and did a quick scan, I saw a Moxie doll which had a snowman and fake snow in it with a winter theme. Scanned at £2 so went in the basket too.
If you regularly go to Tesco and frequent the toy aisle my best advice is to look for anything unfamiliar, if you haven't seen it before it is worth a quick scan.
I agree, thats exactly what I do. Also look for the items that look out of place or where there is only 1 or 2 of them. It doesn't always work but i've found quite a lot of stuff using this method. hthA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

A few stores have hand held scanners that you use to scan your shopping and pack in trolley as you go round the store.
You then go to a special till and pay for your shopping there without having to unpack it all.
Wow I want a go on one of those! Are you still eligible for dtd using one of these?..(/(/

I finally found some ben ten walkie talkies yesterday, been looking since the start of the sale - other people reported them scanning at 1.40, but sadly they scanned at 6.49 last night. Still, another christmas present taken care of, and not a bad price - but not as good as 1.40

Calm down. :rotfl:
If people don't want to they don't have to, just as you don't have to 'hide' stores if you don't want to.0 -
My cousin went to fa!lsw*rth tes co man chest3r and asked to get price check on 2 cameras, and a rude sa told him she will only sell him one as he has been coming to the store every week just buying electrical items.
When asked for proof was told they have him on video, lolz last few times he went with me and it was just normal food shopping.
He only asked for price check (no scanners in store).
I have been to many stores and had funny looks but nothing like this when asked for price check.
He travels past this store on daily basis and gets his lunch from there all the time.
He was quite upset tonight, I feel like going to the store and buying multiple electrical items from that sa and see what they do.
I don't think staff should have this kind of attitude just for checking prices.
In M!d(d)Lt*n store the tesco employees bought multiple laptop/netbooks right in front of us, when we asked they had all sold out.
Can anyone advice, I dont think I will buy 2 lots of bread might get told off.
What is the main aim of a store? Am I wrong to think it's to sell as much as possible to customers? We keep them in a job and when customers don't shop in certain stores enough, they are closing down as we are seeing in almost every town centre in the UK. So please, Tesco, retrain your staff to not be so rude to customers. If someone is in your store on a daily basis, they may be there for a look or they may be there for their food shopping so should not be made to feel like they are doing something wrong. I'm so shocked that someone should be made to feel so bad. Also that particular sales assistant should be disciplined for telling a customer that he can only buy one electrical item. Who does she think she is? They are definitely doing Tesco an injustice and cutting their sales figures which I'm sure the Directors would not be happy about, especially if this is the practice in many stores throughout the country, although first I've read of being told this."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0
