Oooh what is the princess stationery set please, any links to it so I know what to look for?

Can't remember who said it, but someone said that the princess goodie bags were scanning at £10 rather than £5 for DTD, although I have no idea where they would put these in store or what they look like, any ideas would be very welcomed.

princess goodie bag i got dtd on one its a heart shaped pink handbag type stuffed with sationary bits SEL £5 scanned at 10 found it in stationary aisle

none left in my local they took the sels down

Barcode is 5012128330728 It's bigger than A4 size in a box "Bumper back to school set" Contains pencil case, pen, pencil, sketch pad, ruler, rubber,etc... Oh and just noticed a backpack... so makes the £18 somewhat better but still way over priced.... The box was all battered so definately old stock... shame only the one on shelf..

I complained to Tesco about the confusion with the prices and said they should have made it clearer what was in the clearance and what wasn't and blah blah....it's unfair that I have to keep checking prices blah blah...it's embarassing blah blah..and they sent me a £10 money voucher which came this morning. Plus, I wasn't very happy when they cancelled my .com order when there was more than enough money to pay then when I went to the store to collect they couldn't work out why it wasn't there. The stuff I bought was now out of stock and we'd dragged the kids round and spent an extra £15.00 that we hadn't intended to and they still haven't refunded the card so seeing as .com is a separate entity, I plan on recieving another money card very soon after the weekend :)

just been to do normal shopping so thought i'd check the toys, only packs of 4 bouncy balls 20p, light up yoyos 20p and toy story 3 keyrings 50p today, already have ocean moonsand and all the others had stickers on, although someone had attempted to remove one on a supermarket set but i couldn't bring myself to finish it off, if it wasn't there at all that would be a different story though. Toy story soldiers SEL £6 - should they say £3 or is this right? Had DS with me so couldn't do much without him noticing, slinky dog is labelled at £6 ish - anyone know if this is really £3 as i can cope paying this for one but as all the ones i've seen played with are wrecked i don't want to spend too much on one.

Back on topic just got Disney cars and princess delux roll and go stationery set sel £10 scanning at £1 hth

Have just had an unpleasant experience at Edinburgh Hermiston Gait over this one. SEL says £1, scanned at £4. Took it to CS. After 10 minutes of finding on the shelves, discuss it on the phone etc they agreed to 'let me have it for £1'. The woman was already being very rude at this point, making me feel like I was trying to defraud Tesco. Reason - the barcode was different and the SEL did not say 'art desk'.

When I mentioned DTD (the policy on the wall behind her' I was made to feel like some kind of chancer - eye rolling at colleague and muttering under breath about it not being worth the hassle.

Very hacked off. I have never even done DTD before

  • Went to Ab!ngd@n today and there are still some bargains - just have to look hard!
I managed to find a couple of Disney Princess musical mirrors 25p, Mickey and Buzz Parachutes 50p, jungle in my pocket 50p, Disney Princess small handbag shaped pack with 2 animals in 60p, Thomas playdough with cutter or rollers on top 25p, mini Barbie pack 40p.

There are still more of the above there. The bits seems to be on shelves with related items with no SEL in front of them.

They also had the bed rails scanning at 60p. I took one blue and one pink and left about 8 on the shelf.

Also really chuffed as in their reduced section - things with yellow labels I got 4 packs of Moshi Monsters - the packs with 5 figures. Should have been £4.97 and label reduced them to £1.50. Purely because the packets were bashed about. My son and daughter both love these so worth the visit just to get these. Though unlikely to be anywhere else. sorry.

    Hope that helps someone x
