Tesco Codes DISCUSSION ONLY

Hi - You put on an order eg. lots of bags of nappies, book a delivery slot, go to checkout but DON'T actually confirm - just go to the bit where you put vouchers in and put in all the codes, then log out of your account. The order won't get sent because you didn't check out but the codes will be there for you to update your order next time. Hope that makes sense!
And a similar question - I know it has been asked a thousand times, but when you have an expiry date for the coupons does that mean order by that date or deliver by that date? Suddenly got all these 1000 pointers to use and don't know if I can get so much shopping before the middle of May!
Cheers!
Ali

I was the same
Here is what to do -
Add a few item to your basket
Click on check out
Then click use coupons/vouchers
Add your codes one by one and you will then see a list appear above your order
Like thisWe are sorry, but the following eCoupons are not valid in the same order: 1000 extra Clubcard Points; £15 off your groceries

We have therefore only used one of these eCoupons in your order. If this is not the eCoupon that you wish to use, then you can make changes to your eCoupons here. If you are happy with the eCoupon that we have used, then please click on the 'continue to checkout' button.
That then stores then for future use, hope that helpsIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
Brillian Marcell!! Thanks, that explains it clearly and hopefully I now have the two 1000 codes stored for my next two on line shops.
I guess I should be storing these on a regular basis as often when I do my online shop.......I am grappling around for a code to use as some that I have written down are often no longer in use.
Would be interested in what kind of system people use to bank codes e.g. how often ...how many codes can be stored.. do you use paidtoshop and on here etc etc.

I used the 1000 points on £50 spend and it was accepted at checkout with no problems, but my delivery has just turned up and the code was rejected on the invoice.0

It was over £160 total spend.
Quite a few members on PTS have had the code rejected too.0 -
What reason did it give for it being rejected?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Just states the usual possible reasons:
We're sorry but we couldn't use the following coupons/vouchers:
- 1000 extra Clubcard Points
Common reasons why a coupon/ voucher is rejected are:
- You needed to spend a certain amount but your final bill was below this.
- Your basket did not include the specific promotional item(s)
- It is possible that there may have been a technical problem.
- It is possible that the voucher may have already been redeemed.0
