Personally I wouldn't give them a call. I prefer to email as you never get the same person twice replying to your query.

If you still have your order confrimation email from Tesco showing the discount then I would forward this to them saying the discount wasn't honoured and you don't understand why. If they email you back asking where you got code etc. then just don't reply. Better than being put on the spot on a phone call IMO.

The problem with contacting CS by any method is you bring attention to your accounts, if the poster has a few accounts I would leave it.

If the poster has one or two then I would consider it, but try and find out where the code came from 1st

Just spoke to a lovely young (well sounded it anyway!) man in CS, who has kindly refunded my delivery costs (£5.99). I was very nice to him and played really dumb, god men are suckers for it!!! He explained that even though the vouchers that my friend (!) has been giving have worked in the past, tescos are having a clamp down. We're gonna have to find another way to share codes, away from the eyes of Mr Tescos. Still think that if my shopping had been 25p more, £13 would have come off - hey ho!
November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post. :D

You know sometimes, we just have to bite the bullet and buy something WITHOUT A CODE!! I know it hurts, I know it's painful, but go on, you can do it! :D
