im so annoyed, just had a buyer email me and say, l no longer want this item please issue me with an immediate refund, l wouldnt mind but she beat quite a few others to buy this item, what is wrong with these people not only that l had 8 none paying bidders in the last couple of months and lve now got another 7 to deal with why bid if your not going to buy, my question is can l cancel this item and if l can can she still leave feedback because l'd really like to send her a message saying what l think, has anyone else noticed an increase in non paying bidders, thanks for any help

When did the item sell and buyer pay?
That's a lot of npb's unless you sell 1000's a month, check your listings to see if there is anything there to attract these type of buyers.0 -
Why are you thinking of cancelling instead of opening non payment cases anyway?
Best to open a Non Payment Dispute after 4 days and if it closes with no payment your buyer gets a strike against their account and any negative feedback left will be removed by eBay.
buyer requirements can be set to block buyers with 2 or more strikes, so an NPD it's a more effective sanction than retaliatory messages.
And it does us all a favour too
PS If you do send a cancellation and your buyer refuses, you lose your Final Value Fees.
Never send one unless your buyer knows they have to agree on the form.
Lots of buyers think they only have to ask the seller and that the form is only a confirmation, so they don't bother reading it0 -

It's easily done. I'd just had a cup of tea.
OP have you refunded the buyer yet? If not I'd send the cancellation through first, hopefully she'll agree straight away & then you get your fees back & can also offer a 2nd chance.0 -
