Im not trying to force her to have it that would be impossible, l just wanted the advice from others about how to go about cancelling an item as lve never done it before, the things that annoyed me more than anything is the way she worded her email and the fact that she beat several others who were bidding on it

If she's agreed to the cancellation you could give a 2nd chance offer to the under bidder.
  • Your buyer can leave feedback after a cancellation!
But I am also sure the seller can leave follow up feedback as well!.
I haven't sold on ebay for several years due to people taking the p***. I shut my last account down after I sold a phone for about £150 (about 4 years ago), Buyer claimed they never got it!. paypal immediately took buyers side taking funds from my account and not to mention the ebay fees I had to pay!. I had proof of sending but paypal took no notice! My account I have now is for buying only and (touch wood) have never had to leave neg feedback at all as all my items (EVENTUALLY since most come from china) get to me!
Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me :)

3 years ago eBay changed the feedback system so that sellers are no longer able to leave negative feedback for buyers.

Sellers can leave follow up comments, yes.
