No idea what happened to Tuesday!!!
Yesterday popped to asda twice but did return a couple of clothes items I bought. Today off work. Poorly with bad chest, hacking cough etc so not happy. Spending updated.

Hey Dizzie, sorry your not feeling up to the mark today. This diary really makes me laugh. I'm glad you have 'really fed up days' too. Its tough staying on the straight and narrow and I get really pd off some days too. My aim is to visit the ATM once a week. Was paid yesterday, all my direct debits came out today and I've got £180 left. Get my CSA money on Sunday so I'll be laughing (that's the plan anyway). Will probably spend all day on here on Sunday trying to keep my mind off having money and wanting to spend it.

Awww thanks GirlRacer. Do you know that feeling when your head feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool...that's just how I feel. Thought it might stop me from spending but hasn't! Hopefully I'll start to feel better soon. I've tried taking out the amount of money I need for the week but end up spending it in a couple of days!! As you can see from my spending sig. the amount I spend varies from day to day. It's not like I even spend it on me. I bought some clothes from asda the other day but mega cheap, the skirt was reduced to £5 but I had to take back, and 2 tshirts at £2.50 each and a cardi at £3 which went back too. I can't get a bargain. It's a good idea doing something to keep your mind occupied, I enjoy painting but haven't been bothered for ages. Might get them out again once I'm feeling better, so thanks for that tip.
Ah well onwards and upwards. Thanks again hun.

It's Sunday and not a very good week-end. Did the shopping, went out but didn't spend too much on going out then went to asda today. Fed up, again, but as long as I keep posting I'm sure it's making me more careful than I would have been. I think!!!

    Hi Dizzie

Sympathies, weekends can be really depressing when it's cold and you have no money!

The supermarket is a real bugbear for me too. It takes such a large proportion of our hard-earned money! Today I spent £55.12 in sainsbury's - hoping that will be all we need for this week. No Asda near us I'm glad to say as I'd be forever tempted by the cheap clothes too.

Hope you have a good week and keep a tight grip on the purse strings.

The dreaded supermarket, that's where all my money goes. I spent £55 on Saturday but it did include packed lunch food for 3 so its not so bad I suppose. I hate weekends too. During the week I'm so busy with work I don't think too much about spending but on a weekend Im like someone possessed. Done shopping yesterday and put £30 petrol in my car today so not really spent a lot this weekend. My aim this week is NOT to call to the supermarket before or after work.

Amother week begins tomorrow and hope your both feeling better x

    Thanks GirlRacer and Seaxwyn
I do wish there were more grocery shops were we could buy smaller items on a day to day. I think I might try taking say £7 to work everyday cash only, no cards, and calling at asda on the way home to buy that night's tea rather than a weekly shop because the problem is I do a weekly shop then still pop into asda. (wonder if I'm addicted to it)!!
Today popped into the co-op for a £5 top-up voucher and spent £10.27....Dd has just asked me if I want to go on the sun-beds, what she means is will I pay for her??? Um, I'm going to keep a note of how much the children get out of me a week, that should make interesting reading!!!
At least we can keep each other going :D

The kids get a fortune out of me. It started off as money every day for school, then they wanted pocket money, now its money every day for school AND pocket money!!!

Kids have driven me absolutely mental today. Had major argument with DD this morning as she had the Monday morning feeling and was adamant she was not going to school. 2nd prize she had there.

Then 11.15 this morning school from the local comp, my DS had been caught playing truant. God I hate being a single mum sometimes. I'm always the bad guy that does the shouting. Dad id the fab guy that visits once a month and brings all the pressies!

Still, good news is I only spent 85p today and sent letter off to Barclaycard to reclaim some charges.

:D But we wouldn't be without them would we!!!! Dd is rushing me now to go. That's another £10 I'll have to take out the bank. Just updated my sig. but will need to do it again now when I get back. Aaaarrgh!!!!
I bet your kids still think you're the bees knees. Sometimes they just have a funny way of showing it. Ah well I shall go and have 10 mins. relaxation on the sunbed. May as well enjoy it!!! (and I'll try not to think of the negatives of a sun bed)

Didn't go on the sun bed in the end. I didn't feel like it and thought I'd save the money.Though had to pay for Dd. Ah well, still saved some money though!

Too depressed to post anything yesterday. Dds phone is playing up even though she's had it less than a year and cost just under £200!!! They won't replace it only send it away for repairs. If it can't be fixed then they'll replace it. So had to get her another to use in the meantime!!! Honestly it's 2 steps forward and 3 back!!!!!!!!!!
Just upped my overdraft limit too. :cry Let's hope my lucky dip lottery ticket will bring me some luck tonight. Will place it under my little laughing buddha and hope he brings us some luck. Fingers and toes crossed. Hope everyone else is fairing better than me.
