since detective work wld seem to show activity after yr sale i wld tend towards a neg. or leave a neutral with a comment abt purported bereavement to warn off other buyers if this is a constantly used excuse. not sending is one thing, not contacting you is another. as a seller i recently had to pull out of a sale as a close family member was suddenly taken critically ill and as i was in hospital with them nearly 24/7 i just cldn't cope with organizing a courier to pick up the item sold. i i emailed buyer as soon as i could and offered profuse apologies. he didn't believe me. i was however fortunate buyer didn't leave me a neg.

But cq, discussing what feedback to leave is an extremely serious and important subject and will probably aid you immensely in your wider studies of Human Rights. Gosh yes:D
Yes...quite. They would make mincemeat out of some people I've seen...

  • Seller is now sending me messages both inside ebay messages and outside of ebay to my PP email address. Nothing threatening or abusive as such, just enough to make me feel uncomfortable as they simply won't leave me alone. All along the lines of 'how do you feel now' and requesting the return of an item I don't have as they never sent it! They have also received 5 other negs of late so I doubt I am alone in my experiences.

Odd to have gone from no emails during the transaction to this torrent after but I've never had this before and I don't know what to do about it!

I have not replied, and don't think I should, but do I report this to ebay? If so how? And what about the emails sent direct to my PP email address? Are sellers allowed to contact you directly like this?

    Its a bit creepy!

    TIA CC xx

A link on how to report http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/rfe-unwelcome-email-misuse.html I would ignore the seller completely & report them.

    Can't you just block them?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I think if you add them to your blocked bidders list they can't contact you via ebay - not 100% sure on this though. It will be hard to block their direct emails although you could just add their email address to your spam list or depending on how you read your emails, set up a rule that automatically deletes their emails.

Report them to ebay and then just ignore them and it will probably stop when they realise they are not getting a reaction. It might be an idea to keep the emails so you can threaten to report them for harrasment if it does carry on.

You can stop blocked bidders from contacting you but that's a blanket block, it would be everyone who is blocked for any reason.
I would definitely report them if their emails are bothering you.
