Mobile phone water damage

    the water sensor paper inside the device now gives a very clear indication of water damage - they are small white sqaures of moisture sensitive card stuck to the battery, main unit and inside on the PCB itself - if they are red instead of white it means water damage which = no free repair.

    Things have moved on quite a bit in this area...

    As above. Taking it back and lying about it won't work because they can tell that it has been water damaged.

    blimey.. just checked my blackberry,,batery square bit, white, body square bit witer than me ;)

    having trashed my bb, and many times my baby sprayed water/orange juice on it, i thought these square papers would be red hot;)
    the keyboard block button doesnt work and few other bits aswell...should i try and stick it up to the network and see if they can sort it?
