    Hi all ,

Happy Birthday Moorhen, hope you have a good day.
Get well wishes to anyone under the weather.

I did all my ironing yest aft,not put it all away yet though. My washing dried on the line yesterday,I wasnt sure it would as it was a bit damp but improved later on and got quite windy,so my baskets are clear.
I've just had my lunch -a cheese omelette. My neighbour I walk the dogs with gets my eggs from a farm near her mums, its £3.50 for 30 eggs on a tray, but they are the biggest eggs I've ever seen so not bad. We're having pasta for tea so nice and quick.
Cooled down a lot,so I can get back to my sewing room, which is unbearable when its hot, with no window.I bought 2 lots of fabric last week,a new Abakhan has opened not too far from us :jwhich will save us travelling up the motorway. They have a lot more variety than my man on the market, tho' he's very cheap so I will still go there.
Right, better go and do something useful :D,BFN xx

After not hearing from OH all day but not thinking a huge amount of it...I just picked up a one line email from him saying he has left his phone in NY :( he is in the US on business and travels all around and he's not back to NY until Thursday night. How can he forget his phone?! usually he is welded to it and I can't drag him away from it! so knowing that I basically won't hear from him until Friday has made me feel all tearful and even more lonely.

Probably doesn't help that I haven't even left the house since work on Friday... need to get myself sorted out and go in to work tomorrow, or I'll get into a bad downward spiral. Boo :(

OS today I have got my ironing done, some tidying up etc, and unsuccessfully tried to wash our table runner thing. It says hand wash only in cold water so I put it in the washing machine on the cold water hand wash setting and it has come out just as mucky as it was before, I don't know why I bothered!

Just a quickie from me, as I have to get ready, off to a local restaurant, and then to here to see these with our Norwegian neighbours.

Couldn't get to sleep last night, still wide awake at 3am, maybe didn't do enough yesterday:o Slept in this morning, so had bacon egg and mushrooms (LC) as a breakfast/lunch - then spoilt it after a walk along the front with a magnum type of ice cream :o. Will be good tonight though, I am driving so diet coke for me.

    :bdaycake: Moorhen

((hugs)) to the poorlies and the downs

    Take care all - DG

Hey Halight, just saw your FB message, Hope your result was good news for you x

I have given the bathroom floors a wash, cleaned the living room and cleaned out Stinky the Rabbit. OH is an hr away from home, so going to nip to the village for some beverages for him for tonight. I've work at 8:30 tomorrow morning so i shan't be joining in with him.

Will make dinner as soon as he's in then i shall be watching the great british bake off final, even if he doesn't want to watch it!
