    Morning all! Happy birthday Moorhen!

Went to see the doctor on Friday because I'm so tired and so forgetful - well he told me off good and proper -because I've not been remembering to take my tablets which leaves me (you've guess it!) tired and forgetful!!!! Said would take me 6 weeks to get back to feeling normal. So have just sorted out all my tablets and will be rattling from now on! He also told me I have to take a high strength multi vit and min tablet a day. Oh well.

B&Q have just delivered the 6 packets of loft boards and the shed that OH wanted (he'll be busy this weekend!) which is great as it means I don't have to stay in the WHOLE day - yipee. Have ebay items to post and have to get ready for the PTA AGM tonight - and then have double booked myself (forgetfulness!) and have a Beavers planning meeting at my house later. So will be rushing around like a mad thing later.

Spag bol for tea tonight as its easy. Puppy in for vaccinations tomorrow in vets. Shocked (not in a good way) to find we'd spent almost £100 on electricity and gas last month - thats GOT to change. No heating on until at least the end of the month I think. Hugs to those in need.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
  • Good morning all..

It's a lovely morning here today, sun is shining but nice and cool :T
WM just coming to an end so will peg that out and put another load in. Don't no what it is lately but dd needs a clean uniform every day, she's comes home so messy??

X-ray today!! Hoping all is ok, I'm still in agony but am just getting on with it now, I struggle to sit down for 2 long for some reason

Have cleared the kitchen from breakfast, need to tidy/mop the front room and clean bathroom. I feel I shouldn't do these things whilst on the sick but it drives me mad if they are left undone. But there's no way I could get up and down a ladder and unload deliveries in my state so my sick note is justified :p

Will make some choc brownies as a surprise for dd today, she really does make all my days so much brighter :)

On the estate agent front, they've changed the date again  apparently now I will get the keys on 18th, not holding my breath will believe it when they are safely in my hand!!

Bacon, eggs, hm chips, mushrooms and beans for tea, nice and easy
Have a great day all xxx

  • Morning,

Been busy the last few days, got my maternity allowance paperwork off yesterday, went to the Harvest Festival Church Service for the school. Wrote a complaint to sky for trying to scr£w me out of money. Think I might just cancel everything and let them suffer!

I lost weight again this week, so I am not at my lowest weight of my pregnancy (but hit 6 months today)!

Well today is a slower day, I am to rest as I have not been feeling well... so I am making my Christmas to-do lists :)

I have put some bread on, but that's the extent of my days work :)

Hope you all have a good day x

jackieo i'd never thought of freezing mash like that, sounds brilliant!

I really hope it doesn't start snowing in october, my red peppers & pumpkin are only just getting fruit and i don't have room for them all inside :rotfl: I'd virtually given up on them all but after dumping the peppers outside to kill the green flies and ignoring them for a week- they flowered!

I got some antibiotics yesterday and spent the day in bed and I do feel a bit better already. Day in bed and a few hours at university tonight, of course I'm actually working in bed though... i've run out of things to watch on iplayer :o

I feel your pain.:( Mr LW has tablets in the mornings, and I have tablets morning and evening; part of my night-time routine is to set out the next days' tablets, his and my morning stuff in little shot glasses, ready for brekkie time, and my evening ones in an silver tablet box that can go in my bag if I'm going to be away from the house. I also have an alarm set for 07:30 and 19:30 every day in my mobile phone, to remind me to take them. Without this, you can bet your boots I'd forget to take the little blighters.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

A lot fresher today and hopefully the nights will be a little cooler too, it has been too hot and sticky to get a decent night's sleep.

Good breeze even though cooler so I have washing on the line.

Bathroom has been scrubbed and hall tidied just got to hoover and dust the front room

Need to make a couple of loaves of bread today and might make DS some twinks

    Happy birthday Moorhen!

I am, pathetically, off work again. Still very dizzy. Doctor said a few things, all of which I kept trying to post on yesterday's thread but it wouldn't let me...anyway. Hoping to feel better and back to work tomorrow, I feel so very guilty when I'm away.

Managed to mark 30 exercise books sitting on the sofa this morning though so it's not entirely wasted.

Watching trashy films - Shrek at the moment - yes, I really am an adult! and feeling thoroughly guilty. I will tackle the ironing in a minute to try and make myself feel better.

It doesn't feel much cooler here although it's cloudy - but still really humid and muggy. I'm just ready for it to be winter now - my favourite season!

Ooh it actually let me post, how exciting!

I forgot to say anything OS in my post...well, I have started buying/planning Christmas presents, partly for reasons of economy (spreading the cost) but partly just because I absolutely love Christmas and it cheers me up. Buying Christmas presents three months in advance is fairly OS, right? at least it is if my grandmother is anything to go by! She starts asking for lists in August :)
